Desert Dunes Golf Course

This course is so rundown and in poor condition it should not be offered on GolfNow. The greens are like fairways, I want my money refunded

Can’t beat the price so I won’t beat up this golf course. Great layout and a good challenge, you can tell this was a high caliber course in it’s day. Yeah the bunkers are bad and there’s some patchy areas, but still worth every penny. Was a light morning and I finished in under 3 hrs. Tee off early to beat the wind. Give it a shot, I’d play here again.

This is a difficult course, but I guess that's part of what makes it so fun to play. Some very unique and challenging holes requiring straight shots, for sure. However, the overall condition was not good. Most fairways were decent and the greens were good, but the tee boxes needed attention and the rough was basically unplayable with tall, thick grass and weeds. The bunkers were not maintained and most had standing water. Although, reportedly, the mower used for keeping the rough had been broken down for awhile and a new one had been ordered. They only own one machine? As tends to be the case in the desert in the summer, a common response is "Well, for the price, I guess we can't really complain too much".

Beautiful views of the mountains and challenging but fun golf

Course is a great challenge for both beginner and golf vet! 1 word of caution stay in the fairway, duh! Fun time had by all four of us!

This is course is fun for golfers of all levels. It has wide but challenging fairways with bunkers around most greens. The grass around the Course is managed well, greens looks nice but run a little fast as all our desert courses often do. The staff is very friendly, our beverage cart worker Stephon, is a nice, friendly guy, evem offered us beers from the bar that he didn't have on the cart, the prices were very reasonable as well. One of my favorite local courses here in the coachella Valley.

I can't say enough good things to convey the wonderful time my wife and I had at Desert Dunes. From our arrival through the entire round we met incredible staff who were more than appreciative of our time at their course. The Pro Shop was friendly, informative, welcoming and even set us up to play the less crowded back nine for a relaxing round. The folks from the beverage cart and the bar were incredible as well. Professional, personable and happy to help us with whatever was needed. Service was exceptional with the whole crew making our day a happy experience. Course was fair, well maintained and a pleasure to play. There's wildlife roaming around as you play (we saw roadrunners, cottontails and even a bobcat strolled across the fairway). Stefan and crew- a job well done to one and all. My wife and I were visiting from Reno and will definitely be back to play again. Your smiles and great service left us feeling wonderful for having spent our morning at your course. It's rare to find an entire group that makes someone feel the high level of gratitude for our patronage. Our most sincere and heartfelt thanks to you all.

This is a beautiful course with great staff and pace of play. Also an easy drive coming from LA
