Desert Dunes Golf Course

Nice layout needs some work on greens and traps. Love this place and wish it got more play so improvements could be made.

Although RT Jones is a bit of a sadist, you have to admire his designs. Lots more interesting topography than other courses in the valley and the wind makes it really nuts.

Played many a round on what i consider to be one of the best layouts in the desert, unfortunately for me the course was not in great condition, however I got the hot deal so for $22.00 was still great value for money,

Played 18 today on a perfect day. Front 9 on this course is a dog track. Back 9 much better. Pro shop sold us a membership for discounted rounds. Good value for the price but this is nothing close to the other course in Palm Springs area. Greens were slow and bumpy with lots of dead spots.

Golf course is rough in areas, layout is somewhat tough given the wind conditions most bunkers had to many big stones and were unplayable.

Green were good speed some very rough.

I will only play again when finding a deal on your site. Definitely not worth the $ 50 and up range.

Booked round on a discount golf website at an unbelievable January bargain rate for the entire Palm Springs area. Every staff member was friendly, helpful and courteous. The course was well kept. Many holes had 20+ mile scenic views across the valley and high mountain peaks. Many area courses costing $150+ are surrounded my homes which can hamper your long drives. Not a concern at Desert Dunes. No homes blocking your views or ball rack.

Played here couple times..both times had a great time. Staff is friendly and if not too windy course is alot of fun.

Love this course. The layout is so open. The staff here is so friendly. Alex & Javier are great. I left my rangefinder on the golf cart one day and the manager and staff went out of their way to find my phone number to contact me. GREAT customer service.

Don't freak out when you drive in. They stopped maintaining the entrance and in front of the clubhouse. The course is a very challenging track. The fairways are in pretty good shape. A couple of the tee boxes were not in the best condition. We have played here about 6 times since August and 3 times this winter. Today was the first time the greens were pretty rough. Not sure what happened over the past month since we played here last. I hope they get them in better shape soon. Overall though, I don't think you'll find a better course in the Coachella Valley at or near the price they charge.

The course is in great shape, except for some of the greens. They were splotchy and bumpy. Pace of play was great and staff very friendly. Worth playing if you're in the area.

The only reason we went to play D D was we got it for 18.00 at a great time. I played here 6 years ago and it was close to a dump than, it's now a dump! Very sparse grass in the fairways some of the greens were bare dirt. The only good thing I can say is everyone we incountered who worked at the course and was very nice and friendly. Spend the $$$$ and go somewhere else!!
