Worst experience
Absolute worst customer service ever experience, I payed for a tee time as a single and they wouldn’t give me my own cart. When I asked to talk to a manager the kid said he wasn’t in, when I asked for anybody other than him, he essentially told me to deal with it. I was on the phone with their corporate office and she was trying to contact the pro shop and she could barely get through to him. All over a cart, embarrassing . This course is getting the reputation as blatantly disrespectful and unprofessional and unfortunately I got to experience it first hand today.
No starter
Course didnt even have a starter, went off at 1230 got through 11 holes by 345. Group of 5 in front of us and group of six in front of them playing at a snails pace. Ranger apologized about the course being backed but little too late at that point. Not paying 150 just to play a 6 and half hr round. Plenty of other courses to go play in San Diego.
Unbelievable poor maintenance
It's Monday 12:30pm on their 7th hole a par 3. The course is backed-up. They are PUNCHING the green, right in front of the flag. The maintenance person is NOT wearing a helmet, yet, he's waving us up to hit. What if we killed him with our shot.
Nice amenities but course has been in better shape.
This is the third time I've played the course and it's been well over 6 months since I've been here. The course was not in great shape compared to the last couple of times I played here. Greens are in good shape but the fairways were average at best. Several areas where they seem to be working on. I've always looked forward to coming but probably won't be back for a while given the current conditions vs. the price point. It was Father's day so I'll chalk up the horribly slow 5+ hour round as an outlier. Good course amenities and staff are great.
Course needs bunker work. For 100 dollars I would expect sand in the bunkers not hard dirt. The bunker are like concrete. Please work on bunkers.
Bummed out at the end
The sprinklers went on at 7am onto the putting greens and we couldn’t finish the remaining 15-18 holes. So disappointed…

Staff and patrons are very nice. Crew is doing a fine job on the course. Great day listening to Padres radio.
LOSE THE ROPES
PROTECTING THE COURSE WITH ROPES IN SOME AREAS IS OK BUT MULTIPLE EXTENDED ROPES ON MOST FAIRWAYS AND FOR YEARS RUINS ANY ROUND. LOSE THEM AND LET GOLFERS PLAY GOLF.
In great shape
I’ve been playing here since the clubhouse was a trailer and the greens are as good as they’ve ever been.
Good round
Course is in great shape overall. Greens are rolling true and fast.
The roped off areas are a pain but that’s the only thing I would fix.
Has a lot of potential but too expensive and too slow
This course is not bad but they recently increased the price (definitely not worth $150!) and is quite possibly the slowest course in all of SD. I’ve played here over 10x and it’s always over 5 hours per round, no matter when you start. If it wasn’t so slow I would play here a lot.
I will say the staff is great and the food is also pretty killer!
