Not a bad course but wouldn’t recommend to a friend
No driving range to warm up. All the holes are right on top of each other. Course was very crowded so we often had to wait several minutes at tee boxes. Nothing at the halfway house to eat and very limited drink selection. Course was well maintained and greens were very fast. Fairly cheap, especially for the area.

This used to be a decent course ITB. It’s tight, mature trees and convenient if you live near the city. Unfortunately the city of Atlanta has decided to let this course become dilapidated and unkept. It’s worse every time I’ve played over the past couple years. Okay city of Atlanta, you win. I will never play here again. Go ahead and sell this poor course to the highest bidder who will build houses and make tons of Money. So disappointing but so be it. This used to be a bit of a gem and now you’ve let it become an embarrassment of a golf course. Well done!
15 Handicapper Playing Chastain for the First Time
I finally played 18 at Chastain after living in the neighborhood for many years. We teed off at 3:30 on a Wednesday and were able to finish in about 3:45 minutes...well under what I was expecting. The clubhouse is no frills but the course is mostly in decent shape. The front nine is much more forgiving than the back nine which is narrow off the tee box. I will definitely be back given the cost and convenience.

This golf course is the perfect mix between fun and challenging. There are definitely some challenging holes but its length makes it fun. The greens could not be any better, they were all in great/perfect conditions and very fast. Some what firm, which makes it challenging to stop the ball from close range. But over all an excellent course

Busy, hot and challenging
Very busy course even on a weekday. I think we had to wait at every hole. Very surprised they offered no food and beverage service at the clubhouse. The course is also very challenging with lots of hazards.
Good lenses, bad frames
Well-kept, challenging course. Indifferent staff at best. Good DMV job candidates.
