Encino is a fun muni course
Very open. Mostly flat. Tree lined generous fairways. We played from the tips and enjoyed the layout. The course is a fun municipal course and offers some shot shaping off the tees. Carts had GPS, which was a nice surprise. Our cart battery was dying as we were finishing. Just be prepared to be behind some very old and slow players here. No cart girls or marshalls. Course was in good shape.

Fun Round
At least TRY to maintain the bunkers. I was lucky enough to have missed all of them but my playing partners said they were hard and not maintained at all. This would be a huge value for the money if the course paid someone to cover this one detail.

Bunkers. Why won’t they rake them
Customers pay good money to play golf. Regardless of whether it’s a Muni or not, the course should be looked after. They have employees, don’t they? So why won’t they take care of the course. Rake the bunkers!!!! Just use the machine, and rake them!!! For crying out loud. What is wrong with America. What is wrong with this country. This city. LA is absolute trash. The Olympics shouldn’t come here.
