POP terrible, greens terrible
Just under 5 hours starting just about twilight tee times. Dunno what the heck was causing the back up but it was pretty much 3 groups to every hole, sometimes 4 groups! On a Tuesday afternoon. Waited on every shot as you can imagine.
And the course is drying out, dying out. No rain so they don’t water? Don’t we have enough water in Cali now? So why isn’t it green? And it’s reclaimed water so we should have it overflowing.
Greens had been small holed the other day. They hadn’t been cut, they were bumpy and hairy, they were terrible.
What a waste of time. And I don’t mean that in a good way.

Flat course with no special features
Playing speed was good even on Saturday and green condition was good.
However, in accordance with my wife, one lady looks like homeless has been staying whole day at lady's toilet with a dog, and there was so bad smell in toilet.

Good value for what you get. Weekday pace of play is pretty good, usually just over 4 hours. Nice open course to help fine tune your golf game.

Encino is a fun muni course
Very open. Mostly flat. Tree lined generous fairways. We played from the tips and enjoyed the layout. The course is a fun municipal course and offers some shot shaping off the tees. Carts had GPS, which was a nice surprise. Our cart battery was dying as we were finishing. Just be prepared to be behind some very old and slow players here. No cart girls or marshalls. Course was in good shape.
