Welk Resort San Diego - Oaks Course

About
The Welk Resort San Diego offers two 18-hole championship golf courses, the Oaks and the Fountain. Both courses stretch out across over 600 acres of lush, beautifully manicured terrain that incorporates both forests and wetlands. The Oaks gets its name from the plentiful 100-year-old oak trees that blanket the golf course. The 18-hole, par-3 course is ideal for anyone looking to improve their short game, regardless of skill level. It is gentle enough for beginners but advanced golfers looking for a casual round of practice will also enjoy it. The scenic oaks line the fairways and there is a meandering stream that crosses through the golf course, providing water hazards on a few holes. Those looking for a tougher round can try their hand at the Fountain, which despite being an executive golf course, offers a challenging test.

Waste of time and money
Worse than a minature putt course made by the blind. Misleading website. Horrible greens. Bad course layout and hard to find. Go hit rocks with a stick in the backyard and you'll be better off
Really Short
This was a really short wide open executive course with little elevation and limited features. Average hole length is under a hundred yards and not much of a challenge, but it is well maintained. This would be a great course for a younger golfer or a new beginner. Otherwise I feel that there are other courses in the area that are a better value.
Nice short game practice course
Played here four times now and I'll be back. It's a great value.
Greens have fully recovered since aeration last month.
They do allow carts but course is very short with some hills so walking it is very pleasant.
There are power lines on four holes. I just ignore them and I have yet to hit one.
Good Par 3 course. Definitely need skills on the short game.
Nice PAr 3. Will come back. Morning tee times chilly until about 10am.
