About
Black Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole, championship course that is conveniently situated less than an hour from Savannah. The course sprawls across acres of rolling countryside, surrounded by nothing but lush meadows and hills, providing the round with peaceful seclusion. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels and the blue tees are enough of a challenge for more advanced players. The front nine has a wide-open links-style layout that provides an interesting contrast to the back nine, which is characterized by tree-lined, narrow fairways. The greens are large and undulating and sometimes framed with strategically placed bunkers. The golf course winds through scenic coastal marshes and wetlands, which come into play on 13 holes. There is even an island green on Black Creek Golf Club's signature hole, the par-3 15th.

I didn't check the weather before booking and found out there was a 70% chance of rain. To our surprise we got the round in. The greens were slow I"m sure due to the rain. The overall course was in good shape and all that played with me were satisfied and enjoyed the course
Courses in good shape they are doing a lot of work around the Fairway the greens are in good shape roll true
Hidden Gem
Wonderful golf course with varied terrain. Staff members are the best. My absolute favorite course in the low country.
Summer golf
Very friendly staff and the course condition continues to improve. Rain the night before seemed to have hampered a little of the grounds work. Very popular course that I enjoy playing as well. Will be back again. Only thing that would make it better is for my game to be better, but that's not the fault of the course! LOL....
Golf
Course offers good opportunity to play at various levels of difficulty by providing multiple tees. Layout is rolling with a country setting. Enjoy nature and play 18! Staff friendly and very courteous. For a Saturday, pace of play was good. Will play again soon.
Front nine and back nine are totally different feel, but makes for a fun and fulfilling round. 10/10 would recommend
Looking better still
Have played here 6-7 times in last few weeks. They are sinking $$$ into the course and it shows. By fall this course should be phenomenal. Staff is awesome.
Beautiful Golf Course
Black Creek is a wonderful test of golf. The course is well maintained. The abundant rain of late has caused bunkers to suffer but crew Works diligently to upgrade sand traps. Kudos to everyone at Blackcreek. You will not find a better golf value and experience in the low country.
Getting better by the day
Nice return after the flooding of last month. The course is really doing great things to improve. I saw several groups of workers putting drains into bunkers, trees have been cut to allow sun to grow more grass and the bathrooms on each nine are remodeled.
Except for the 30 minute drive from Savannah area, there’s no reason not to play Black Creek.
Pleasing to the Eye and thought provoking
First time playing, Hunter was in the Pro shop and very helpful. I really enjoyed the course, nice layout. The course made you think about your club selection. Not getting to the tee box and ripping it down the fairway. Both nines make you choose your club with thought to were on the fairway you wanted to be, and what you had left to the pin. The foursome I played with today, enjoyed the course as much as I did. We will be back, and in numbers!
Doing good things here getting better and better still needs more work but going in the right direction
