Fairways decent, greens super nice !! Quick but not stupid...staff friendly and accomodating.....tough to beat for the money...go play ...its a nice course, challenging, but fun for the average golfer....again, greens are super nice !!!!

I played this course last year and was not impressed. A lot of improvements have been made especially the greens.I have zero complaints. Tee boxes and fairways were good. The greens were great. I will definitely be back.

Bad Day At Black Creek

4 holes closed on front nine, holes 3, 4, 5, and 6. Greens on remaining holes were in bad shape and freshly sanded, except fo 16, 17, and 18 which weren’t in bad shape. It should be noted so people don’t waste a day playing on a course that should not even be open for business. Very disgusted that I wasted my time and money playing there.

The new management has made a lot of improvements to the course and widened the fairways by removing trees. Had an awesome day on the course and look forward to future trips to Black Creek.

I played 18 holes here this past week and all the greens are tore up. It’s a mix between mud and sand. Wish I was told I wasn’t going to be able to put because I would have booked somewhere else.

Greens are bad Sand traps are bad fairways are bad sand traps are dirt traps and tees need grass. other than that the course is great. They are working on it needs to get the greens playable with grass not dirt painted green and put sand in the traps not dirt level the tee boxes add grass to the tee boxes lastly improve the cart paths.

I played this course last year and it was in decent - not good - shape. Today, only about 4 of the greens were playable. The rest had little if any grass on them. They were black dirt or fungus of some type. They were either very moist (where you could see the footprints of previous golfers) or dry (the black dirt was crusty). They were very difficult to put close to the holes due to the spike marks. This is the second time in the last few years I've played the course when the greens were unplayable.

The reason the pace of play was good was that there were few players on the course. Somebody tipped them off. Wish I had been as fortunate.

Course was good needs some work on sandtraps tee boxes and greens. The sandtraps are not playing as sandtraps more mud traps. Some tee boxes slanted and very little grass. Greens need help. But nice course I will play again soon.

Each hole is unique. Kept me on my toes from the first tee to the 18th green!

Fairways are dormant. Lies are ok but can be challenging. Greens are bald. Grass is not growing but looks like they still cut it to roll the green which is mostly compact dirt. Likely the best that can be done this time of year. Grass will start up again in another month or so.

Play was slow in the beginning due to a family of 10 playing a game of best ball and sandwiched berween them and us was a twosome that was hitting two or 3 balls per hole. It picked up when at 3 we decided to skip to 7 and continue playing. It was pretty wet on the course and some ofvthecgreens were like rolled mud. Back nine was much drier and better green conditions with the exception of the par 3 on number 11.

Staff were courteous and went beyond to make sure our pace of play would not be interrupted or long. Considering the construction at the club house and early morning frost ; it was a great day of golf !

We played late morning and nobody was there. Only a couple other twosomes on the course. Course is in pretty good shape considering this time of year but greens are getting a little worn in places. I don’t think they’ve aerated yet but they probably should before much longer. Some bald spots are starting to show up but overall the course is very playable and a nice experience.

I did not know what to expect they had good reviews but price is very low so was not sure about playing this course. Overall course is in great shape hitting ball from fairways is as good as any other course I have played. Greens had some mold damage but overall where in good shape. Only real negative was tee boxes. a little thin on grass and all of them seemed to slope left or right no real level spots at least not from white tees. I was obvious they are working on improving course and restaurant.

Played this course once last year. Staff are super friendly, conditions were just about perfect. Greens were fast and smooth but they can be tricky on the breaks. A good challenge. My only complaint is the first cut of rough is Bermuda grass and is a little bit too long because if you don’t keep track of your shot, it can be difficult to find it in the rough. First cut should probably be about a half inch shorter, otherwise fairways and greens are excellent. We will be back for another round.
