About
Black Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole, championship course that is conveniently situated less than an hour from Savannah. The course sprawls across acres of rolling countryside, surrounded by nothing but lush meadows and hills, providing the round with peaceful seclusion. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels and the blue tees are enough of a challenge for more advanced players. The front nine has a wide-open links-style layout that provides an interesting contrast to the back nine, which is characterized by tree-lined, narrow fairways. The greens are large and undulating and sometimes framed with strategically placed bunkers. The golf course winds through scenic coastal marshes and wetlands, which come into play on 13 holes. There is even an island green on Black Creek Golf Club's signature hole, the par-3 15th.

Black Creek
Course needs work, fairways were fine, rough was too high, impossible to find ball if hit there. Most greens were good except hole 11 and 12 were temp greens due to regular greens being completely redone. Ownership still hasn’t replaced the clubhouse that was destroyed by tornado, years ago.I really thought new owners would have added a new clubhouse and upgrades to the course by now. Guess time will tell.
Outstanding Staff and Experience
As a very average golfer i find the course both fun and challenging. two greens are under repair but temprary greens are ok. Greens are well maintained. Practice facilities are good. the entire staff distinguishes Black Creek as an outstanding value. Joanne in the clubhouse says “we appreciate you” with every purchase and the entire staff makes you believe that they do. A very positive golf experience.
Pretty good course
The course was in good shape. There was a "tournament " of sorts going on that wasn't mentioned until we got there. Front 9 was fairly slow pace, but it cleared up and the back went quick. Conditions were much better than the last time I was there. Great layout. I will definitely be back. The staff is super friendly.
Back nine current condition.
I would have played the front nine twice for the price I paid. Fix the course before charging players the going rate. This was my worst time playing this course.
great value, great staff
there are still two greens under repair/reconstrucyion. The rest of the course is in good condition.a couple bridges/paths have storm damage but not a big deal. Our tee time was missed due to outside factors, and there were two group outings, but the starter worked us in for our great convenience with no disruption to the groups. Additionally, Joanne, the clubhouse manager is always helpful and engaging - - a great Ambassador for Black Creek!
Course was in poor shape. Two greens are temporary. Rough had not been cut in a while. Very disappointing.
2 greens under reppair
pleasant course. very few houses along fairways. One green is being repaired ( temporary green in place) and another under reconstruction. Staff is always very accommodating .
Greens a bit scruffy
Greens were slow/bumpy due to recent aeration, several greens had bare patches. Hopefully will be better in about a month.
Staff were great! Pace of play was great! Didn’t have an issue with any of those. My only issue was the condition of the cart paths. There was no clear indication as to where it was on some holes and the concrete was damaged. There was some clay paths and some concrete but it was a rough ride. 11 & 12 greens were damage but they were straight forward with telling me that at the begin of my round.
