Black Creek Golf Club

Very nice to see maintenance work ,especially on the greens, and Bunkers, fairways Very good, but please cut that 6inch rough slows pace of play and is too severe for the weekend golfer, pity this golf course doesn't have a bar/club house , and please ask the starter to refrain from racism, ie bad comments about the Koreans, Very embarrassing.

Staff very friendly, good value for the money, fairways good , greens decent, but the rough is soooooo deep it's a JOKE, can't even see your shoes in places, even if you miss a Fairway by a few feet almost impossible to see your ball for the recreational golf it's to punishment, It also slows pace of play down to a snail pace, surely the staff can see this , and after a few wet days like we have had recently Just keep your 60degree wedge in your hand, Rough is beyond a joke Please cut it down make the rounds more pleasurable. PLEASE.

Our twosome played this course knowing the rough would be rough because of all the rain we had been having. This was a beautiful day, and the fairways and greens were in great shape. Two greens were being upgraded, but it didn't bother us, because we were advised of this before we played. This is a friendly, but also a challenging course at times. While the clubhouse hasn't been rebuilt yet after a tornado, the temporary golf shop is adequate either great hot dogs and the usual amenities. I highly recommend this course for those who haven't played it yet. the woodland setting is easy on the eyes, and the driving range with the newly added feature of individual monitors for tracking and improving a dedicated golfer's game is quite impressive. Tell Joanne that Scrappy sent you, and I'll guarantee you'll get a smile from her in addition to any help you need about the course and its playability.

They are obviously working to improve the course. A couple holes had makeshift greens (pin located on fairway), lots of dead grass clippings, stay out of the rough (it’s very high), pack extra balls if you plan to miss a few fairways.

Tried course again and really disappointed again. 2 temp greens and all the rest a shag carpet. Stopped in shop between nine’s and saw sign that said new rates of $50 weekday and $60 weekend. GN rate high 20’s but even that is not worth it.

While the weather rolled in and had me running for cover- I only had to skip 2 holes on the way back (because the rain & thunder stopped), that was the reasoning for the rating on the course conditions. There are two temporary greens, which weren't really "putt-able," it's obvious that they're working real hard to improve the conditions. The woman at in the clubhouse (Miss Joanne) is probably the friendliest and nicest person I have EVER met working at a golf course.I showed up early and she told me to just 'go ahead' and I played as a single. I love the layout here and you can really score if you hit it well. They are obviously putting a lot of time and money into improvements and will definitely be going back!

Greens were good, other than two are being resodded right now. Fairways were in great shape. Bemuda rough was needing cutting up but other than that course is in good shape.

the staff always make me feel appreciated. The course is a nice design. there are two temporary greens and the first cut of rough is too high resulting in time wasted searching and all too frequently dropping new balls. Despite these temporary annoyances it is a nice course and always a positive experience.

The fairways were excellent plenty of grass. The greens were in good shape and looking forward when they finish whole number 11 and 12 will definitely play again.

As a Savannah native that plays all our local courses and even lives on one of them I speak for myself, my son in law and all my buddy’s when I say Black Creek is a great course with the best staff you’ll find anywhere compared to other courses for the price. To the guys whining about 2 holes their repairing, relax it could be worse. I know one local course all 18 are not puttable and they’re charging about the same amount, and that course isn’t doing any repairs.

Repair is a good thing, that means it’s improving, which BC continues to do all the time even after natural disasters. Joann is THE golf lady os Savannah, we all love and adore that sweet lady, she and the crew always happy and smiling, cracking a joke or picking on one of us guys. These people make it a pleasure to spend money here.

We look very forward to future progress and don’t let 2 repair holes ruin your trip, support these people we need this course.

The course, has a really nice layout cool scenery. The fairways and greens are an excellent condition.

nice course, very accommodating staff. The rough seemed taller than I remembered. Even balls just off the fairway were very hard to find.
