Best little course in the West
This was the first course I played before I was a teenager and play it almost every Saturday morning with a great group of friends and family almost 30 years later. The driving range is popular and the addition of Top Tracer is awesome! It is a great price and value! Pay attention and they’ll remind you that if you come back the same day, show your receipt for a heavily discounted rate on another 9 holes! My initial goal for playing every Saturday was to work on my short game, but it’s really a fun and challenging course that doesn’t feel repetitive. They take great care of the fairways, greens, bunkers, and all around everything. You’ll have the occasional unrepaired divot but compared to some other public courses I’ve played... well you get the idea. I almost hate to talk too well about this course because I don’t want it too busy, but really it’s a great course. If no one is ahead of us and we don’t take too many extra practice shots (mulligans) three to four of us can finish the course in about an hour to an hour and a half. If you’re looking for a place to go but don’t have time for a full 18, head to Glen Oaks! Kara’s Korner right at the start of Downtown Glendora is a great place for breakfast or lunch after your round. Seriously, I just love this course!
Simply the Best, 9 hole, Par 3, in SoCal, by Far!!!
"Hey, it's 102 degree out there...can I play, in My T-Shirt, Miss???"
California tanned, petite, straight blonde, streaked, shoulder length hair,
a perfect smile, Brittany Thelen answered, "Yes sir of course you can, whatever
makes you comfortable!"
I was kidding of course, but the attractive Blonde wasn't...
Friendliest staffers and very professional too boot. The driving range an all practice facility are the best I've ever seen.
If California is suffering from a drought...it's not evident here, because the grasses are as green as Forest Green, in a Craola Crayon book. And it is better cut than some of the Executive courses, I've played.
This course is a must if you're a visitor form anywhere...Great for working on your short and Iron game!
I'd like to especially thank, staffer, James, who's going into his senior year at SHHS, and is on the Golf team, for sharing his Golf Balls with Me, on the driving, with a smile.
No staffer, has ever done that for me, thanks, and good luck in your senior year!
Come play here, GolfNow as the best price in the World!!!
$5.00, 9 holes, who can beat that?
Nice course to get out and walk alittle
Went out to glen oaks today nice weather good people. Good day. The people in the shop are real friendly and the course is looking better and better each time I go. Nice job on the layout
9 hole course listed as 18
I bought the hotdeal for this course thinking i was would be playing the 9 hole course twice. When i got there, the lady told me the 18 hole listing was a mistake. It would cost an extra $5 to replay. I would suggest calling the course before booking.
The course is very nice and well kept. Pace of play was fast. Greens are not too fast and challenging. Staff is friendly and helpful.
good for beginners
A grate place to learn how to play the game.
This course is constantly being improved.
Excellent greens. Fairways still need some work but are being worked on. Sand traps are tough.
