Green frustration
The course for the most part was in great shape, unfortunately they recently punched their greens, so they were quite frustrating!!! GolfNow usually has a notification on the search page about courses punching greens!!?? Had I known about the greens I would’ve probably picked a different course!!

Fun course
Was a good time. They had a star war theme going which was fun to see. Only complaint was the bottle neck on hole 8. There was like 4 groups of golfers backed up which was wild.
Course in Repair. No Advance Notice.
Great layout. I will be back to play again. The greens were aerated last week and as a result the greens were all sand. This was not disclosed. I paid full price. I believe I should get a credit on my account.
First time
Overall enjoyed this course and will come back. I thought the greens were not bad but they do have some issues with some type of fungus. It happens and it only affected 3-4 holes significantly.
Fun, challenging golf course
Alta Sierra is challenging but fun. Variety of tee locations for every level. Elevation changes add to the challenge. Excellent experience for the money. Pace of play could be faster but a minor criticism.
Golf in fresh mountain air
Pretty place, rolling hills and lots of beautiful trees . A nice place to golf and just look around
Alta sierra
The course was very dried out and fairways are have large bare spots. Several greens are in bad condition with large bare fungus spots with no grass and sand spots.
Accused of doing donuts
Pulling up to the 18th tee box and the guy at the front desk drove up and asked if we were doing donuts on the 17th and there was a solo player behind my group who was a regular member from what he told me, and said he saw a group of people doing donuts as well but said it wasn’t our group. But the employee believes the solo player who probably was irritated about pace of play and falsely accused our group of damage to course. There was no signs of donuts at all. Maybe you guys need a Marshall to drive around. Won’t be returning

traps and tee boxes worse each time we play course is still our second favorite course
