About
Bridgemill Athletic Club in Canton has a varied landscape that provides an interesting mix of holes ranging from flat and wide open to undulating and tree-lined. The layout isn't characterized by a specific feature but instead lets the lush, rolling terrain remain the focus. The well balanced golf course features numerous sand bunkers strategically placed throughout and water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The distinct 16th hole with its island green is known throughout Atlanta. This par 3 appears intimidating but it is more playable than it looks. Players of all skill levels stand a good shot at reaching the green. In addition to the golf course, Bridgemill Athletic Club offers a driving range and short game area as well as 25 tennis courts and a two-acre aquatic center.

Fairways are trash
Played from the middle of the fairway most of the day, which means playing from the mud most of the day. Your better off in the rough where there is grass.

Big Disappointment
Played with 2 others at 2 pm on a Monday afternoon. Golf now nor Bridgemill said anything about the greens being verticut and sanded. The greens rolled like complete crap. Looks like they either aerated or verti cut fairways as well. This is absolutely the worst $60 you will ever spend on Golf. Why waste money and only overseed some tee boxes and not back tee boxes? Course is in the absolute worst shape I've ever seen but at least they are lining their pockets with $65 rounds all day every day.

Punched Greens
Always a fan of this course and staff. Good mix of holes and a challenging layout.
My complaint is that the greens where punched recently without notice on GolfNow and with the rain they weren't rolled so they were very rough.
Weather was perfect and it was good to get out just was frustrating putting.

Cart golf wet conditions
4some had nice competitive round. Played wet conditions and still made for a fun round. Walked a lot.

Bridgemill
Course was very wet. I really like the course layout. Greens were aerated & had a ton of sand. In my opinion, this is very early to be be aerated. No mention on the website and the rates were not reduced. They should have been reduced, since the greens were hard to putt on. In addition, Golf Now charges over $6 to book the tee time online. This is something new, I never had to pay a convenience fee before.

Needs Marshalls
The last several times we have played there we start on #10. At the turn it seems like new people are starting on #1 due to groups being backed up. Have never seen a marshall out on course at Bridgemill. My fear is this place will turn into a 5 hour round.

Welcoming staff and excellent practice areas!
Despite playing in the dead of winter the course was in pretty darn good condition.
I can't say enough about the practice areas though, chipping green, huge very pure putting green and a nice bunker to practice from as well, natural turf driving range is a plus too.
My favorite thing about Bridgemill though is
that the staff makes you feel like a guest not an inconvenience...

Cost
I like the golf course plays very well but it’s way too expensive to play on a regular basis. Should give discounts for seniors and residents make it more affordable to play more often. Also if you own your own golf cart you should be able to use it on the golf course and not pay I got a card fee.
