I really enjoy playing Bridgemill but this course has the worst drainage of any area course. It hadn't rained in weeks but the sprinklers left the course muddy. Standing water around tee boxes and greens.

How other public courses should be... Course was in excellent shape, beautiful bent grass greens that actually rolled true, unlike most public courses that have slow greens and covered in ball marks. Great practice facility available, including driving range, two putting greens, and short game area. Even the food was awesome at the turn! Overall solid challenge from the black tees (7,000 yards) for the veteran player. I will definitely be back!

Course was aerated 9/17 so greens were very bumpy. Fairways were in good condition. Pace of play excellent. Very few golfers today. Possibly due to aeration.

Course is in great shape. The staff is super friendly. Marshall's are usually on top if it making sure that the pace on the weekends stays around 4.5 hrs. Not today though. The pace was super slow especially on the back nine. Ended up playing a 5 hour round. Even for the weekend that's too slow.

This course is in great shape and layout. Greens and fairways in good shape. Greens putt true!

This was the BEST course I have ever had the privilege of playing. The pro shop employees were extremely helpful and welcoming. Feather stones had amazing service and even better food. The golf course is in extraordinary condition, not to mention the cart boys and maintenance are nothing less than perfect! All around an amazing experience at Bridgemill Athletic Club! Thank you Denise for making it all happen!

I played in a foursome on Sunday afternoon and the weather couldn't of been more perfect. The course was in great shape and definitely top 3 public courses in the north Atlanta area.Greens were slow at beginning and sped up as sun started to come out.

Biggest problem I had was with the marshalls. I saw some comments earlier about pace of play was bad but marshalls can't be on us about pace of play when we finished under 4.5 hours and still trying to push us. That is bad golf etiquette. We started behind a foursome as well and a had foursome behind us as we knew how fast we needed to go and not slow play our shots. But once we got to the turn and headed for 10th hole, we bypassed the the clubhouse without stopping. Next thing we know there was no one in front of us and definitely no one behind us for 2-3 holes. Next thing you know on 13th and 14th hole the marshall said "next group already finished on green on 15" and we felt rushed because they wanted us to play faster but they were unable to answer whether that group stopped at clubhouse for snack or if that was a group 2 tee times ahead of us because we did not. And on 16 we noticed a group of 2 behind us and not a foursome so we felt like we were right on schedule Definitely did not like marshalls rushing us when no one was behind us on holes and we played through at turn without stopping.

I understand they had bad p[ace of play in previous weeks/months but that doesn't mean take it out on people when there wasn't a delay that day. Great course and layout but understand when there is a delay and no delay.

BridgeMill is a beautiful layout - the course is kept in nice condition, highly recommend.

Pros:

1. Nice course and layout.

Cons:

1. Delayed, over 30 minutes behind getting people off first tee

2. Out of carts, only when people come off then got a cart

3. With no carts had to lug your bag to range and putting green and cart exchange to wait to get one coming off 18

4. Crazy SLOW, 5 and 1/2 hour round, waited EVERY hole

5. Only seen one course ranger on hole #2

6. Only seen beverage cart once on hole #3

7. Was 90+, hot. ALL water coolers EMPTY. That is crazy!!!

8. At the turn the snack/beverage counter closed

5 hours is too long for a round. The Marshall should have speeded up play!!!! Awesome course especially 16

Really enjoyed my round. The course isn't overly difficult and plays fair. The fairways and greens are nearly perfect.

Second time playing, great layout, quick greens, pretty good pace of play even for a Sunday. Almost didn't get to play as I booked the time on Golf Now, received a confirmation, showed up at course only for them to tell me I didn't actually have a reservation after all. Golf Now booked me a tee time that didn't exit. if it wasn't for the friendly staff, who were able to get us out it would have been no golf. I realize this happens once in a awhile, but this it the THIRD TIME ITS HAPPENED IN LESS THAN A YEAR!

Started 40 minutes late due to apparently slow play during a tournament earlier in the morning. It’s not a good look when the head pro has to come out and start organizing the flow on to the first tee! Once we got started things actually went quickly but a 40 minute delay ( not due to weather) is pretty unacceptable. I play here often and have been considering membership but after today’s fiasco that is on hold.
