BridgeMill Athletic Club
About
Bridgemill Athletic Club in Canton has a varied landscape that provides an interesting mix of holes ranging from flat and wide open to undulating and tree-lined. The layout isn't characterized by a specific feature but instead lets the lush, rolling terrain remain the focus. The well balanced golf course features numerous sand bunkers strategically placed throughout and water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The distinct 16th hole with its island green is known throughout Atlanta. This par 3 appears intimidating but it is more playable than it looks. Players of all skill levels stand a good shot at reaching the green. In addition to the golf course, Bridgemill Athletic Club offers a driving range and short game area as well as 25 tennis courts and a two-acre aquatic center.

Very nice layout and the greens were some of best I have played this year,
The layout is very challenging, so you must hit good shots or you will be penalized. The course condition is very good and the greens were in great shape. This course has alot of good holes and you will hit almost every club in your bag.
The greens were in great shape and rolled very well and true.
Bridgemill is a very nice course that is maintained quite nicely. The green were excellent and the fairways were greening up quite nicely. The staff was pleasant and attentive. It was a great price and special offer for Mother's Day with a very light number of players. I was paired up with another single and we were let off as a twosome. We caught up to a greens keeper setting marks for a tournament the next day. That was about the only thing that slowed us down.
Pace of play makes this an average course..way too slow. Groups of 6 were allowed on the course.
Overall course was in good condition and well maintained. The greens were extremely hard and not at all ball receptive. Great shots bounded needlessly beyond the hole. The slow pace of play certainly hinders the desire to return to this track. Way over sold for no reason...
Bridgemill has excellent landscaping and the course was in good condition for this time of the season.
Our foursome enjoyed our round at Bridgemill and will play there again. The staff was friendly, helpful and made our visit a great experience.
Great Course and Value!!
The course is beautiful, meandering through an upscale community of homes. Not too difficult, while not easy either.
Took 5 hours to play a round, so not the fastest course, but I thoroughly enjoyed the round. Hole 16, a par three with an island green was fun to play. Staff was friendly and they have an excellent practice facility.
Bridgemill
This course will have you reaching for every type of shot you have in your bag. With four different tee's to choose from this course can be as fun/difficult as you want to make it. The course at Bridgemill offers just about every type of hazard Georgia has to offer, sand, water, elevation, and tight fairways at times. They offer a pretty decent selection at the snack bar on weekends as well, so if you get hungry making your way towards the 10th dont hesitate to stop. They have very nice facilities and staff is usually very friendly. I dont have much bad to say about this course, other than I wish I could play here more often. The only "con" is the pace of play, which that varies day to day depending on the caliber of people in front of you.
The course was well maintained.
As the season is beginning to take off few courses can match the condition of this course. We had a great day. Thanks!
A great day for golf.
A very good round of golf. The fairways were in great shape. We weren't stuck playing with someone else and the weather was very nice. The greens were still mending from aeration, and we did have to wait a bit on the back nine, but it was still an enjoyable round of golf.
Masters Week golf outing
This course is in a super nice neighborhood that offers some extremely nice practice facilities. Multiple greens, bunkers, and chipping areas to practice on. Golf school offered as well. The course was in nice shape considering it is early spring. The greens had been punched 3 weeks prior and were about a week or two from being great. I would love to play this course mid season to see how well it greens up. The course can play kinda tight with landing areas challenging anyone that has a slight draw or slice. The staff were not rude, but not overly nice like you would expect. We paid $48 on golfnow. I would pay it again mid season to see how the course played in prime conditions. its worth checking out.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The course was in great shape.
Group of 4 woment, so our First impresssion - actually ladies clothes in the pro shop. What a nice surprise. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We waited a couple of mins on each shot, but spoke the men 4-some in front of us, as well as the 4 men behind us, and all were cheerful. Everyone was just enjoying the great weather, and being out on the course. A great experience.
Over Priced
Play was painfully slow. Course marshal was rude. Almost collided with me in the cart when he came whipping around a blind turn and then was nasty about it. Greens, fairways, tee boxes in terrible condition. There's better value for your money in the area.
Nice course
greens were recently punched but are almost healed. Cartpath only on the 3rd of April. Played as a single in about 2:55 mins.
Fanstastic course
Other than recently aerated greens (which we knew about), the course was in fantastic shape.
Did not know the greens were ariated....
Knew upon arrival that the fairways would be wet, got through that , but did not know the greens were ariated..Just wish when I call earlier in the day the pro shop would have revealed that to me...
Very nice country club layout.... with teeth!!!
This course is well kept with very quick greens and well maintained fairways. Don't be fooled by the "Country Club" moniker. This layout has some teeth. It will bite you very quickly if you let your guard down. More often than not, "going for it" is not your best choice. There are a lot of VERY WELL placed hazards on the course. Play on the weekend is slow, the rangers watch and warn people for slow play....but don't seem to actually DO anything about it. Even as such, this a really good course.
Bridgemill
This is a must play course in the metro ATL area. It offers every type of shot you can think of and has a lot of risk/reward situations. With four different tee options it does not require you to play out of your comfort zone. This course has a lot of rolling hills and a decent amount of fairway/green side bunkers to challenge you through out. I would have to say that the "island" par 3 is the most memorable hole on the course, which was very enjoyable. The only "con" I would mention was the pace of play. This was the first time I've played here and it took a little over 5 hours to play, but I hear that its not uncommon for this to happen. I can't wait to play this course again in the summer, because I know the condition will be much better.
Best Winter Greens I have ever played
I "humbled" myself by playing this track from the tips. It was a very fair, difficult test. This was probably the first round I have played in years where I honestly used every club in my bag. There are some tough pin positions, especially on the holes that are tucked into the lakes on the course, so making certian of the yardages is a key to playing this course. The greens were EXCELLENT! They were receptive, yet had a quick pace to them and a very true roll. Noon tee time with the GolfNow.com rate was a GREAT DEAL, and the pace of play was great. I will definitely be back.
This course has a beautiful signature hole
This course, which is in a great community, has a beautiful Par-3 169 Yard (Blue Tees) signature hole that is a breathtaking island green. The fairways were in great shape considering the great amount of rain in recent weeks.
Fun course and greens in great condition
Bridgemill offers a great course to play surrounded by nice homes and great looking views down the holes. Greens can be tough to read the speed but offer a good challenge.
Greens need attention
This is a great layout. Staff was not friendly and announced cart path only half way in our round. Greens spotty and need work.
