Bridgemill Athletic Club in Canton has a varied landscape that provides an interesting mix of holes ranging from flat and wide open to undulating and tree-lined. The layout isn't characterized by a specific feature but instead lets the lush, rolling terrain remain the focus. The well balanced golf course features numerous sand bunkers strategically placed throughout and water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The distinct 16th hole with its island green is known throughout Atlanta. This par 3 appears intimidating but it is more playable than it looks. Players of all skill levels stand a good shot at reaching the green. In addition to the golf course, Bridgemill Athletic Club offers a driving range and short game area as well as 25 tennis courts and a two-acre aquatic center.

Waste of money

Wow has this place gone downhill fast as of late. They keep increasing prices but the quality continues to get worse. It is shocking that this place cost $100. The range is covered in trash and thousands of broken tees with teenagers standing around the starter box on their phones. There are basically no targets on the range to aim for except some patches of dirt. The course is covered in weeds and dirt patches. The starter is some woman yelling at everyone. They have water coolers on the course but no cups at any of them and seeing a beverage cart is rare at best. The pace is close to 5 hours with nobody enforcing pace. I truly do not understand how anyone is willingly paying $100 for a course that isn’t even worth half that. You’re better off going to Callahan.

Not Worth The Price

The staff was very unfriendly for no reason. The lunch/bar shop told us they'd be open all day and closed at noon. There was no cart person offering refreshments either. The course was not very well maintained at all and there were certain holes that were cart path only because they were in such bad shape. I so not recommend this course and will not be coming back.

A genuine scam and waste of money

This place was in decent condition about two years and was worth the price of about $80 after tax back then. NOW the fee is about $100 after tax and in the worst condition I have ever seen. This is literally the worst course I have played at in years. Only comparable course is Green Valley in Cartersville when I first started for $20 bucks, only difference is the average conditioned greens at Bridgemill. Other than that these courses are about the same but you pay 5 times as much here. Crab grass everywhere. Can not differentiate from fairway/rough with patches of dirt throughout the fairways. Do not go here unless you are rich and is a last resort.

Disappointed

BridgeMill recently raised their rates, which I'm typically fine with, but for the amount of money being spent, would think that $10 for range balls seems a little extremely. I would have also thought that pace of play would not be an issue. Our round took 5 hours and 40 minutes. Our GPS on our cart stated we were an hour behind normal play on hole 18. For the amount of money, some kind of concession should have been made. Will not be back and will tell others about our experience.

Muddy Mess

The greens were plugged, car path only, extremely soaking wet, sloppy mess, mud everywhere, maintenance crews, doing massive maintenance on three of the holes. Very, very poor conditions for playing golf.

Bridgemill Athletic Club

Beautiful golf course designed for your scratch golfer or your handicap golfer. Plenty sets of tees to choose from based on your playing ability. The course was not in the best of shape, but I’m not gonna be too crucial on it because we have had so much rain. I almost holed out on 17!!!…..made the birdie. Would recommend to anyone of any playing ability short of hitting the ball 90 degrees off the tee or when you address the ball. I will definitely be coming back.

Good course

Have played here several times. Today the course was CPO on 5 holes due to recent rains. It was in decent condition for winter. The greens were fast and true. Fairways and teeboxes were average as expected. Friendly lady in pro shop gave us the senior discount. Will return to play again.
