About
Bridgemill Athletic Club in Canton has a varied landscape that provides an interesting mix of holes ranging from flat and wide open to undulating and tree-lined. The layout isn't characterized by a specific feature but instead lets the lush, rolling terrain remain the focus. The well balanced golf course features numerous sand bunkers strategically placed throughout and water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The distinct 16th hole with its island green is known throughout Atlanta. This par 3 appears intimidating but it is more playable than it looks. Players of all skill levels stand a good shot at reaching the green. In addition to the golf course, Bridgemill Athletic Club offers a driving range and short game area as well as 25 tennis courts and a two-acre aquatic center.

Bridgemill in rough shape
The fairways were really rough, lot's of bare areas and patchy grass. Tee boxes were mostly just as bad. For this price point, would expect the course to have been in better shape, very disappointing

Great Track
Fun fun course, lots of tiered greens, gettable fairways but tough approach shots. The golf carts are great Bluetooth speakers and gps systems. Also pretty nice practice facility to warm up for your round. Food is ridiculously good

Pace always gets bunched up
Bridgemill can’t stop rain or cold temps, but when those factors cause cart path only golf, perhaps space out the groups so we aren’t on top of one another by the third hole. It’s just not enjoyable to add slow play to those other challenges. I gave up before 9 and no one noticed.
Pretty good condition
Pretty good condition for March. Greens have been aerated and the fairways are no where close to coming in. Still, for March, as good as mother nature allows. I would go back, excellant staff. Courtious and friendly.

Amazing Bang for Your Buck
By far one of the best courses in metro Atlanta. This course allows for some very wide shots & some shaping shots as well. If you're long, it will definitely test your course management skills. The greens were running extremely pure, some of the best around during late winter/early spring.

Course was very muddy
Very promising as the greens were in good shape. It was extremely much and not ready for play.

Wet conditions review
The area had many rainy days before we played including the day before it rained. The fairways were wet (cart path only) but drained very well for the condition. Where I was extremely impressed was the conditions of the greens. They were quick and not beat up from ball marks.
We played from the blue tees (6245 slope 136) and found the slope justified from the condition of the greens, undulations on the greens, and the fall off left / right / back resulting in creative chip shots.
The layout was very fair (saw what you need to do) with nice elevation changes. This is a course I will play when I visit my relatives in Canton. Very reasonable pricing.

Best I’ve seen BM in a minute
I’ve played Bridgemill many, many times. The greens were fantastic this week !! Best I have seen this course in quite a while. Always been a favorite course, and now with lower rates and solid course conditions, it’s a great option in Cherokee. Awesome job !!
