The Links at Lakehouse

Course was in better condition than when I had previously played it. Greens were in pretty good shape - a bit bumpy, but not as bad as in the past. Fairways in decent shape. A good average course.

This course is epic, from the beginning the staff greeted us and made us feel welcomed. The Course itself was really well maintained with really nice greens groomed fairways and some challenging yet extremely fun holes. Will definitely play this course again.

Do not waste yourself here.

Played here in August, drove up from La Jolla, Nice course with some interesting holes and views. Good value for the price.

Amazing course. Started really slow but picked up after the first 9. Highly recommended.

THe course has a few difficult holes on the back 9, but overall a very playable course. Large greens with undulation and some scary downhill putts. When conditions are ‘windy’ you need a low shot because OB or thick rough will punish.

First time on a regular size course and it was fun and very forgiving. Afternoon play wasn’t great due to fairway alignment with the sun but I’d play this course repeatedly any time

First time playing this course. Beautiful course, challenging and well maintained. Unfortunately, we had a few things go wrong that made our experience less than ideal. First, our tee time got bumped a few days prior (received an email from golfnow) by 30 mins. Not a huge deal, but ok. Then, when we showed up, we found out there was a tournament, so they had us starting at the 10th hole. Because of the tournament, we ended up getting more delayed. Then, we tee off and it's sloooow. Then we noticed the group in front of us was a 5some. Why would they allow a 5some in the middle of a Saturday, especially when there's a tournament going on?? We finally complained at the 12th hole (had to call, no marshals in sight) and they sped up for a couple of holes, but then slooow play again (not sure why they didn't just split them to a 3some and 2some). Our round took about 5.5 hours. Will return only if pace of play gets addressed.

I was seeking another new local golf course to sneak away from family obligations during the morning and not risk being stuck on the golf course for 6+ hours and miss the US Open finale. I was greeted by two warm and friendly employees in the pro shop who welcomed me to the course and offered some local expertise for this first time, single player. It was made blatantly obvious that everyone employed at St. Mark on and around the course, pro shop, and restaurant value hospitality, friendliness, and positivity. The people here make the experience supremely enjoyable... and the golf course aint bad either. There is a good variety of different length and shaped holes that demand well-struck and creative shots. I played during a cool, wet morning, so there wasn't much roll in the fairways and the greens were very receptive. It is a great golf course and friendly community that make this an experience worth many future returns.
