The course was a little wet but in great shape. There were several places in the fairways marked as ground under repair but was easy to find a good lie. The great greens were in excellent shape. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. I would place this course again.
A good place
Play this course regularly... layout is very good, fairway condition about a 3 but improving.... greens stellar... staff the best! Only negative was a 3 some behind us... course was busy...they were playing for money I could tell grumpy and they stunk... sadly, we had to see them every tee box ugh!.... they were eyeing us like we were in their way... our foursome shot 6 over combined...RELAX bro!
Punched greens are never fun but otherwise except fir a couple of sodded patches in the fairway, the course is in reasonable shape..
St. Marks golf club
Normally this course is a great value . This day was the course was overbooked and the greens were terrible. The starter allowed a five some to go out clogging the course. My group had to wait 10 min. at each tee box. AVOID this course .
beautiful day, nice course, agonizingly slow
We got off to a good start, but quickly came to a grinding halt. Talked with the pro shop, they sent someone out. The pace picked up a bit, but fell completely apart again on the backside. This would not have been so bad, if all played ready golf. The course would benefit from marshaling starting on the back side.
st. mark
fairways on front nine were thin. on the back, they were more lush. not too many burnt areas. bunkers were ok, not much sand.
overall, it was ok. but i am a hacker with a 17 handicap. and on a budget.
Great Course
We were a three-some and had a fourth added to our group given it was a Sunday. There were a few groups stacked up in front of us and one pushing us from behind but had an overall great time and everyone was friendly.
nice day on the golf course
The new CARTS are AWESOME, super to sit on, never seen such nice golf carts. Course was in good shape, greens receptive. Several troublesome spots on fairways due to recent hot weather, but overall the course was in great shape. Pace of play good today.
Good value for this course
Back 9 is much nicer then the front. Over all excellent value and staff very friendly
could be a great experience if the course were properly monitored
Just in front of us, a 4some of junior golfers playing what seemed to be a scramble format, however, they at least let us through. Slow play on the part of the 4somes in front of us, but when we got to the 10th tee, out of nowhere there was a man and his daughter, she obviously was learning golf, hit multiple balls off the tee. Then they drove out into the driving range to look for several of her errant shots. They were NOT on the front nine. This was reported to the pro shop, who did send someone out to investigate, we were told by that staff member that the course was aware of this man and his daughter. The course itself is nice, some fairways are perfect, soft greens, too bad NO ONE fixes their ball marks. Could be great, just needs someone to pay attention to managing the pace of play.
Challenging course
This course is challenging because it plays longer than the yardage indicates. It was in Excellent shape, old California course, fairly flat with some elevation changes. Kakua grass makes it difficult around the greens. Overall I think you will have a good time playing this course.
Nice for the price
Nice easy course, played in the afternoon very few people on the course at the time, played quick.
