The Links at Lakehouse

Golf course is in very good condition. The greens are in fantastic condition. They roll the greens and paint the holes.

Just wish it was a bit longer/challenging.

the fairways, except 10 and 18 are basically dry dirt with some closely mown brown weeds. Yick. There are some puddles where the sprinkler system leaks. Similar to Castle Creek. Yick. Its only going to get worse as we head into summer.

Drove to course 50 minutes from airport. Upon arrival pro shop said only walkibg allowed. I asked for a push cart and they were all out. I adked them to cancel the tee time but unsure if I will get refunded.

Big waste of my time and probably money. Bad experience so I wouldnt go back. Too many close courses nearby to worry with these guys.

The course was in good condition , its was a little wet because it had been rain in the morning but still it was ok .

Had a blast. Didn’t play well but that didn’t stop me from having a good time at this fun course.

St Mark's is one of the best public courses in North County for the value.

I play in the morning on weekends and really enjoy the course, The fairways are still in winter conditions but each week they get better. The greens are fast and challenging. The staff in the entire facility are great and everyone is friendly. I am not a member, but they make me feel like one and that is why I keep going back.

Staff, clubhouse, restaurant and course were great!

Very fun and challenging will play again. Pace of play was a little slow.

Would have given the course a 5 star rating if there were not homes along almost every hole. Also some fairways and greens were not in the best of conditions, but overall playable, tee to green.

For me the pace of play and the roll and speed of green drives the choice of a course. I was part of a group and had not played this course in a while. So decided to give it a go. The greens looked very lush and even. For the novice, they may even pass off as "pretty good". In my view they were mediocre. The ball seems to skid rather than roll true. Plenty of bumps along the way on longer putts. Ball comes to a dead stop making it a sure 2 putt. Kikuyu grass around the green is another issue. Just grabs the ball making chipping quite frustrating.

I have been playing St Mark's for about a month and a half now (weekends) and played 18 holes for the first time January 1rst. I went out with a couple local members and they could not have been nicer and shared course knowledge as we played which was very helpful. The course was not perfect but a lot better than most other courses in the area. that was only due to it being winter, so I knew what to expect. The other thing I noticed was how nice the staff was and I mean the entire staff from the pro-shop, cart guys and the restaurant, everyone was great and I could not say enough as to how nice they were. The experience was top notch!
