AWESOME Course!
I've played here probably 30+ times over the past 5 years. Watched them gut the place for the new facility, and it was a great place before, even better now. Golf simulator by the bar, decent food, good beer selection, nice amenities. Plus, one the most well-maintained courses I've ever played in the drought-stricken state of California. I can imagine this place would be RAD for a small tournament. GO PLAY HERE!
Fun course with some challenging holes.
The "19th hole" ,Tap In Tavern, is great!
Lovely
Plush greens and nice full fairways. Beautiful fairways and helpful staff. A good short game test with several longer holes allowing driver.
Best course in the area!
I absolutely love this course and have made it my go-to course whenever I can play. I also try to recommend this course to everyone because it is clean and green. With the CA drought I am so happy that St. Marks still keeps the course looking amazing. The location, size and beauty of this course makes it ideal for any level in North County. Also, the price is fantastic. I love that I can book a tee time online and it shows me when the best rate of play is. Also golf carts are reasonably priced and the food is great! Never had a bad experience!
St. Marks Exec

Great fun for an executive course
This course is challenging but fair. My hubby recently had back surgery and is starting to get back in the swing of things. No pun intended. Lol. This course is fun and is a nice layout. It is a great way to play a 2 hr round of golf. We'll be back!
Good course to work on your game
Course has short holes for iron work and a few long one for practice driving. The rolling hill layout provides some challenging shots. Fast pace play make for short but fun play time.
Hot Deal Conflicted with Wedding Reception
Hot Deal advertised 18 hole rate with no caveats. Upon arrival I was advised a wedding reception was scheduled for the same time and golfers would be required to play the back-nine twice and stay away from the front nine. Apparently not much thought went into sequencing those starting on the back nine with those continuing their round as there was a significant back up (4 groups) on the 10th hole. I elected to forego playing as the delay/slow-play was unacceptable.
Great course to brush up your strokes
Nice little course that's great to walk. Greens were in very good shape and the remodel of pro shop with the added "Tap In" clubhouse and outdoor deck make it a cool place to hang out.
Fun,Fast, and Friendly
I played here while visiting with my daughters boyfriend, although we are used to longer courses the course was fun, Fast, and Friendly.
Thanks for great rounds guys!
Great Course
I didn't play yesterday because of the heat index. It was to hot for our health. We don't do well in hot weather, that's why we don't play in-land during mid June to early November. We try and stick to coastal courses because it's closer to the water and cooler.
great Course
it was great course great weather in very good condition will go back soon.
Great Outing
The course was in great shape. Very scenic. Greens and fairways were well taken care of.
The new club house is also a welcome addition.
The only course I've played where you checked in at the bar!
St Mark's executive course
I like this course because of the difference in the holes from the back tees. It changes when the tees are moved up resulting in less variety in the holes distance. The greens are usually pretty good but were a little bumpy today. The greenside bunkers have good sand quality making escape much more consistent.
great first experience
Played 18 holes with my son and both sons-in-law (one is a novice). We all had a great time and will be returning soon.
Great Day
This is a great course, especially for the amateur golfer. Set up to where it's possible to make some fantastic shots. Not too hard. Very fun!
a gem
this is a great exec course with enough variety to keep it interesting and fun.
Bad day
First let me say that I like this course and have played there several times. The last time I played it was very backed-up. There were 2-3 groups waiting ahead of me and at least 2 backed-up behind me. I love a course that lets you go when you’re ready but this day needed some managing to pace the players out. Having other players sitting or standing around watching me tee off is very uncomfortable and does not help my game. One last thing that happened this last round was, as we were waiting for the next tee box, the person two groups behind me caught up to the tee box I was at. He had a radio in his bag (like Caddyshack) playing rap music (not a fan). That was the last straw and I called it a day (only the 11th hole). I’ll go back but I’ll make sure it’s not on such a busy day.
I love what they've done with this course. It's well maintained and the new cluhouse is outstanding!
There's something to be said about the old country style clubhouse and snack bar. But, I must admit that with the new owners, not only have they improved the course and the maintenance, they've added a state of the art clubhouse. Kudos to them, - I plan to play a lot more often.
