Great value for an executive course
The tee boxes need a little care. With that said, most average players will tee up the ball a little so that helps.
This course is a good value, I love that it has 4 par fours may be not long enough where driver is a must, but 3 woods and 5 woods are a better choice.
It really is a nice course to walk.
The greens are in good shape, not great but do not compromise fairness and the speed is very nice (a little fast for most avg. player).
As most executives, the goal is to hit most greens so if you land close by, you'll find fair playable conditions. If you are chunking the shots or way off line, you'll find bad poorly maintained areas.
Keep it in play and close to or on the greens and you'll get an excellent value.
Could be better
Since's its only 5 min from home, I have been to this course quite a lot during the last 2 years. The course has certainly improved after the new management especially the greens. But for the fairway and other areas, it would take some time. The basic infrastructure such as Hole Number course map is either not existing or partial.
Hope to see the completion of the improvement.
Easy on and easy off; and it moved well.
This is fun course with a great variety of holes. The pace is good and the greens are in great shape.
Decent course front 9 needs a little work
It was fun. Some interesting undulations from the tees, several elevated tees and a few elevated greens. About what you would expect from a executive course. Nothing special but totally playable.
great value
a fun little course with great deals, 3 drivable holes the rest are par three's
Good course for the money
This is a good course if you are not a good player, and want to try and get better. Since there are few long holes, it s less intimidating. A nice course of women to work on their game. The staff was very friendly, and the course in good shape.
poor condition all way around
Aside from poor conditions of the fairways and greens the slow play is maddening. they need a marshall to move along extremely slow players. We had to wait while a player in front of us took ten minutes looking for his ball in hedges off the course! the price of $26 for this course is ridiculous. There are plenty of nearby regulation courses at this price and lower. Even by skipping four holes it took three hours to play this dog.
The staff is friendly and you can get a great price!
After 4:00 pm the twilight fee is only about $10! The course has a couple par 4s and is typically maintained well.
good play for the money
I was very pleasantly surprised to find this little gem of an executive golf course that Ive not played before. Its a beautiful place to play I liked it alot.
Great course to practice short game
My brother and I have played at this course multiple times and every time it has been challenging. Great course to do some serious short game improvement.
Good course with great greens.
This course is moderately challenging but fair for every level of golfer. The greens are a good speed and run very true. You can play in 2 1/2 to 3 hours depending on the number of players on the course. It's a fairly easy course to walk and the greens fees are very reasonable.
Best Executive Course
This is the best executive course in North County price wise. The only thing I can knock it on is the play is slow if you get stuck behind the regulars. Course difficulty is moderate to some times hard due to pin location. The greens are nice and big so choose the right club. There some driving holes which have plenty of fairway.
Overall I give this course a 4 out of 5. Play this course and you will get your moneys worth and then some. A hide gem.
maybe it was weekend, pretty busy and long delayed. Nevertheless, it is a friendly course in a normal week day and like to play there
This is a pretty effective course, with good design for short game with various conditions for practicing. Usually, the green is in good condition.
My favorite executive course in North County.
The greens are not easy to read but very well maintained. The par 4's are long enough to use a driver. Great course for short game improvement. I enjoy walking this course.
Great place for a quick round
I picked up golf a couple months back and shot +9 yesterday which was my best game yet. It was 80 degrees and I walked the course in 2.5 hrs. No waiting either.
Great little par 3 course with 4 par 4 holes,
Great little course that is challenging to play you really have to use all your skills in order to make par. As well as its a good course for those just beginning to play the game. Greens were in the best shape I have ever seen and the Manager informed us that they were fast, and believe me they were fast. Pace is great as we walked and were done in under 3 hours. We will play this course again a few times this year.
Excellent course for the price!
Great Executive course. Challenging elevations, great greens and a very reasonable price. Even being an "Executive" course, there are some great places to "grip it and rip it".
Greens have greatly improved since new ownership, and tee boxes actually have grass now, fun to play but still needs work on par 4 fairways.
My complimemts to the club house staff and grounds staff for improving the course so it is fun to play!
Close to home and a quick play.
Normally this course can be played in about 2 3/4 hours but it can get crowded and then slows down.. You can always call first and find out conditions. It has 4 par fours and you can use about every club in your bad. Always fun to play.
