Good course to work on your short game !
I will play this course again !
I will play this course again !
Fun executive course
This was a fun executive course. It seemed busy, but the course was wide open for me and I was able to play it by myself.
It was a nice change of pace playing an executive course. It gave me the chance to put my irons to good use.
There were some hazards to contend with throughout the course. You start out at the first tee with a water hazard to the left. Easily avoidable, but there to psych you out if you let it.
All in all the course was well maintained and I would play it again to get in a quick 18.
xcellent for your short game.
nice par 4's . yeap you get to use every club in your bag on this executive. awesome value. dont pass it up. it fun.
Short holes but good for short game
Tee boxes need to be leveled out, redone and maintained. Good fairways, great greens, and pretty ambiance with mature trees and homes.
Golf 18 holes in 1hr 45 mins for 9 bucks
Great course, low price. Played 18 in 1:45 . 9 bucks on golf now hot deals.
I was disappointed.
Years ago, I remember the course being so pretty.
But now the front nine has a lot of bare spots (dirt), but back
9 was kept a lot better, and nice. It's a beautiful course.
Nice practice for the short game.
Some very soggy spots, course under renovation. Otherwise a good course.
Good walking course with elevated tees and greens.
This course is an excellent place for a golfer to practice his/her short game. Also, with 4 par 4's, a driver may be used, unlike many executive courses. The greens are fast and well-maintained.
Pace of play is a bonus with completion of play in less than 3 hours.
Fun course and great price
I have been playing this course for several years. I was recently bought by a new company and they are putting the money and attention into bringing this course back up to great condition. They have replaced all of the old asphalt paths with brand new concrete. They are watering the course much more. They are fixing all of the drainage problems on the course. They have replaced all of the old carts with brand new ones. They are investing in the course and it is looking great.
Good condition, friendly staffs
Great golf course for walking, especially short game improvements.
Course is rough due to renovation
They are fixing the cart paths so it is a little inconvenient at this time. I believe the new owner's are in the process of total renovation as it is needed. The fairways need work, the greens need some work and the tee boxes need attention. I hope the new owners continue to improve as it's a fun executive course and great for working on your short game. The current price is good and I would recommend even though work is underway.
Great par 3 course.
Great little course. Replacing the cart paths. When finished, this course will be even better. Great design, with even better scenery.
This course has great features
WE enjoyed the course very much, the greens were OK, the tee boxes needs attention, the cart path were under construction to be paved. In a month will be in excellent condition
Very good codition course wise.
New carts and much friendler staff. Cart paths are being redone as we played. Temporary issues will all be over soon.
Fast, fun and tricky.
Short but great to practice making correct direction.
This is a good course to practice how to hit the ball what direction I want.
Good & Improving!
Plenty of park!ing but in full sun so vent your windows. Met with friendly staff. NEW red Club Car golf carts for only $12 on weekdays! In the process of installing wall to wall paved cart paths so expect construction/paving for the next couple of weeks. Won't interfere with play just where carts are directed.
Bent/Poa greens (8 out of 10) were in great shape with true, fast putting surface. Some areas around the greens were very wet, where a ball might plug. Keeping the greens alive due to a hot day in the mid-80's.
Tees boxes, small, abit undersized, hard and mostly weeds or dirt. Expect to use a wooden tee to hit off of. (5 out of 10).
Sand traps a little compacted but doable (7 of 10).
Par 4 fairways needed watering and have little pockets of turf. But one can see the potential of getting better with a little irrigation. (3 of 10). Houses are tucked in close off most holes on the front 9 so be very careful if you tend to spray your shots.
Should be overseeding soon and definitely will become the course it was designed to be.
Play was 3.5 hours, for 2, with little delays. Concession prices were normal with a limited snack menu. Outside tables for dining. Pro Shop, with basic inventory, was very clean, as were the restrooms.,
Overall, a nice experience. Great for your short game work and looking forward to the needed improvements!
Great executive course
Playing most of the executive courses in the area, I find that this course and Lomas Santa Fe were my favorites. For the money ($13 walking), this course was excellent. Highly recommend it, just be careful with the par 4s, often you can't see where the pin is if your going for green off the tee.
love this course for a beginner like me
this course is great because it is easy for people who want to learn abd it's a great par3.
Always a good deal
If you don't have time for a full 18, a Lake San Marcos is the perfect alternative. It requires nearly every club in your bag (with two driveable par 4s). It's a lot of fun and about half the time of a full 18 at a quarter of the price.
great day on the course
We play here frequently. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Greens are in good shape as are the fairways. The cart paths definitely need some work but it looks like they are working on that also.
