I play Rancho Park every Friday -it’s a great course

The usual price for our group is $24 as we’re all seniors

Tee times are extremely hard to get so i was told about Golf Now Hot deals

$40 for round and cart is very good value

The day we played due to the inclement weather over the past week there were no carts walking only

So when i informed Golf Now there were no carts they refunded me $24 ( $6 a cart)

The usual pricing at the course is $16

I’ll never use this service again

Post rain the course was extremely soggy and muddy. Pace was good because the mud kept golfers away. No carts were available so walking was the only option. Starter on 1/11/2020 was smart, helpful, polite.

I don't play Rancho often, mainly because it gets very crowded, which means slow play. Today was different. The pace of play was good. Maybe 4-1/2 hrs, which is great for this course. Maybe because it was a little cooler out and we had some very light rain, maybe that kept some folks away.

The Tees and the fairways were a bit worn, but the greens were great.

Had to pinch myself when I found a hot deal on Xmas eve at 1010am. I have been trying to get on this course for at least two years, I even had a city card at one point could never get on. So, I would say for the first time playing it. It didn’t disappoint. I did had a few mud balls but for the most part conditions we nice. Greens rolled pretty fast considering the amount of play they get. I would definitely play here again. I would love to play it little warmer conditions. If I ever find a time again I would not hesitate to play there again.

Bang for your buck this place is hard to beat anywhere in LA. Course is kept really well, greens are challenging, pace of play is good too, not too many hold ups. The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because getting a tee time is a 1 star. I would look the maximum time in advance for a tee time no luck, I joined LA Golf that gives you a few extra days, still no luck. The only time I can get on is if I am a single player walk on in the middle of the week. I was told it’s one of the busiest golf courses in the country and I see why.

Pace was wonderful and so was weather. The fairways aren't as lush as they were a few months ago. Are they watering them less? Lots of hard pan.

Rancho has many dramatic vistas. Lovely course. What a beauty it would be if it were really well taken care of..... It's somewhere between a championship layout and a beat up muni......
