St. Marlo Country Club

Teed off on time at 11:10, finished 18 at 4:45. Course was in ok condition, hard to judge since it had just rained day before.

Greens were slow but they looked good

This is a great course, greens were perfect, but no matter when I play it’s cart path only. It’s a little steep on the weekend rate for the conditions but I do like this course. Soggy, and hasn’t rained in over a week. Love the course, but overpriced on the weekend.

Usually a great place to play - good course layout, scenic & challenging.

However, poor course conditions, especially tee boxes and greens, limited the enjoyment of this round of golf despite a perfect fall day.

Probably the worst shape this course has ever been over many years of play there.

Although, still a good course just needs a little more love to improve course condition.

Today the course seemed under staffed. I had to load my own bags on and off the cart. No drink cart on the course today. Play seemed a little slow on some holes. Waited to tee off on probably 5 hoes today. The greens were not a good shape. People don't seem to care about fixing the ball divots. Lots of dry spots on the green. They did not roll all that well. Some tee boxes were horrible. Had to tee off outside the set boundaries.Teed from the blues BTW.

The greens were a very bad shape. And the driving range wasn’t even open until 10:30 hitting off the mat.

Nice, nice course. Nice club. The course is in terrible condition. I felt disappointed that I overpaid so much. Pass on this course.

My two sons and I booked this for my sons 16th birthday. It was one of our favorite spots to play. I am shocked at the condition of this course! Not to mention they told us they had no cart for us although we prepaid for one and made our reservation a week ahead of time. $300 and we should have spent our money elsewhere. Please get your course back to the standards you once had!

The course itself was in good condition. Although we had been warned that the greens had been aerated, we were not aware that two of the holes were closed and that it was cart path only. Upon check in, there was a small sign and two of my group didn’t notice it and no one on staff bothered to mention either. When I asked what we should do since two holes were closed I was advised that we “just play 16 holes”, very rudely. When asked about a discount for not playing 18, I was advised that they discounted the round for the aeration and no other discount were coming. Luckily, the starting Marshall, who had just played the full 18 the day before and didn’t know why the two were closed this day, told us to come back to one and two and he would let us play those again to total 18. The club house staff were extremely rude and inconsiderate and made the entire round less enjoyable because of their lack of customer service.

They did not disclose that greens were just punched and that one hole was closed for repairs.
