Mill Valley Golf Course

The course is pleasant to play but very slippery due to rain. The direction signs to the next hole should be more clear. It’s difficult to navigate on the golf course.

For a 9 hole course it has a couple of nice long drives for you but the tees & the holes aren’t marked very well.

I think it was hole 3 that isn’t marked at all & keeps you walking around trying to find a tee box or a sign. That was a well spent 10 minutes. Stupid. Tee box 4 an elevated box looking straight off on to hole 5 green. No marker saying that the hole 4 is around the corner. I hit 2 beautiful shots (err I mean 1) just off the green. Feeling pretty good about the shot, I walked down noticing the hole to the left, realizing I tee’d off to the wrong green. I was thrilled!!! A wasted tee shot & I’m not walking up the hill to tee off again. Little things you take for granted.

I played on a beautiful fall morning--it was chilly when I teed off on 1, but by the time I was on the 4th tee in the sunshine, I peeled off my outer layer.

They had just mowed the fairways and greens, so the course was in excellent condition.

If you've played here before, then you know that there are 4 tees that are basically mats, and that there's no hole longer than 375 or so. It's still narrow in places, and misses can be penal. Still, a fun course to play especially when it was fairly empty as I could get in 9 holes in about 75 minutes.
