Bella Verde Golf Club - Montebello 9 Course

Everything about this course is amazing except that the clubhouse is still under construction so you are not able to get food or drinks without heading next door to Topgolf. Overall a great experience and I can’t wait till the main clubhouse is completed. Will definitely play again.

Course was good. Freeway traffic in the area was terrible!

9 hole course with cart on weekday $42, I can golf weekdays in area 18holes with cart cheaper. GPS not set up yet, temporary trailer for check in. New clubhouse in construction but won't be available for months. I realize Top Golf is next door but these prices do not warrant this location.

Went today because teeoff had a discount for $28 with a cart. I’ve played here before when it was an 18 hole course. They saved a few holes from the old front 9 and old back 9. The last hole a par 3 is new. Greens were slow, but in perfect condition, in fact every thing was in near perfect condition.

I would not pay full price to play here. Starter said it was $32 to walk, and a cart was an extra $10. Pace was quick, was able to jump in front of a 4some, and was done in less than 2 hours.

$42 is a little high for 9 holes. I think they should lower their price $30-$35 to ride seems about right

Great course for any level golfer. Course is in great shape, greens are as nice as it gets. If you’re in the LA area this is a must visit to play quick 9!

The course played very well. Tee boxes, fairways and greens all in excellent condition. Greens roll true but are on the sticky side. Temp clubhouse is in a trailer until the real one is finished being built. Parking lot is tiny as the construction crew is using half of it.

I only hope the conditions are kept up unlike the old Montebello course. A bit pricey for 9 holes, but worth it if the course is kept up

Awesome course. They did an amazing job, I had no idea what to expect with the new layout. Perfect condition, great course layout. I’m going back to Play this afternoon.

This is the End, folks. Montebello is no more. The course is closing for good. You will no longer see 18 holes here ever again. Top Golf has purchased the lease and will be building one of their ranges here, chipping up the front half of the course into its multi-floor monstrosity, saving a few holes for their “extra” course experience blah blah blah.

Good Bye Montebello. One of most everybody’s fave lay outs anywhere. It was nice knowing you. Ciao

Horrible fairways, 50% compacted dirt. Bunkers look like bomb craters. Very sad. Used to be a good golf option.

They have really let this course go. The greens are nice but everything else is in terrible shape. Tee boxes are not mowed and the fairways are dirt and patchy. The rough is really long so you lose your ball easily. It is a real shame because this used to be a nice course

Didn't have time to test the driving range, but they have one. The course layout was fine, but fairways were very dry! Played other courses at similar or higher temperatures, but Montebello takes the first unwanted position for dry fairways. There are no water or ice machines on the course other than at the club house which is accessible when playing first and tenth.

Greens were soft and green, but plsyers at Montebello seem to have a problem repairing marks on the green. We found a lot of "craters"! Staff was different, from friendly to uninterested.

I am not sure I would recommend the course to someone else, as the course looks today..
