It’s an embarrassment
This course used to be the course to play in the area but now it’s gone from a 10 to a -10. Bearways are horrible not one good soundtrap on the whole course on #11 the safety net along the homes looks like something from a horror movie.. Supposedly the guy that runs this course also runs Rio Hondo and I find that very hard to believe since RH is in great shape. But I guess he does not spend very much time here since it’s an embarrassment to the game of golf. If your in the area don’t bother even driving up the hill. I won’t even bring up the driving range.
Course condition better
Condition of the course is better than when played a few months ago; however, there are still a few fairways that need improvement. Overall, the course is in much better shape now.

What was great is now barely MEDIOCRE
Montebello Golf Course was previously a coveted golf destination. Now,…sadly…its a waste of money and time.

Great day ruined after being kicked off
Was having a great day of golf (18 hole). However after the 5th hole (back 9), the gate to the 6th was closed and we weren’t allowed to complete our game without explanation. There was a little over an hour of daylight left as the sun hadn’t gone down yet. Disappointing as I was having a decent game & a great day.
Gem getting polished
I’ve seen the course during the worst conditions , but with the team they have things are looking better each time I play the course. Keep it up
Greens are looking great and I’m starting to see improvements on the fairways.

Fairly Easy to get a time. Nice course, a little challenging.
Enjoy playing it. Unfortunately, no place to have a drink and lunch afterwards.
Good course nice greens bunkers are poor
First time here. Good layout. The course needs some attention to detail. Should be able to communicate with operations while on course. My cart died on the second hole. They did make good on the round after I was done. I will come back to play again.

Great course fun fun fun
Had a great time the price was just right
Pace of play could have been better.
Tooooo sloooow pace
This isn’t my first but it will be my last playing here. The pace is always very slow there’s never a marshal out on the course to make players pick up the pace there’s people out there on the course giving lessons making it even slower just a horrible day out

fairways are too tight,
The fairways are too tight, there is no grass, the greens are a mess, and I don't have reservations.
