I didn’t play today due to the weather, there was a thunderstorm and lightning and didn’t feel it was safe. However, I was still charged for the round.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced at the course. Our goal is to keep the pace of play running smoothly and to never have it too backed up. As far as the raincheck goes, sounds like you prepaid for a Hot Deal on GolfNow. When this is the case, no money is paid to the pro-shop so there is no money that is owed back from the course. You may have booked other course times through GolfNow and that is why you were able to obtain a raincheck. If you call GolfNow, they would be happy to rectify the situation. We hope this clears any confusion up and we hope you give us another try in the future.
Great pace of play
Course def needs some work I guess it's up for sale so don't expect a prestige course. The greens were good but alot of the fairways are missing grass and not much sand in the bunkers. As mentioned in the headline the pace of play was great we were a 3some never had to wait 1 shot. 3 hour 10 minute round.

Typical LA Muni with good vibe
Played nice and quick on a Sunday morning. Reasonably priced. Some holes are kept poorly but mostly pretty decent.
Great time
2nd time playing here. The greens in summer 21 were a little dry and the fairway had some bad patches of dirt. That's all changed now in 2022. Compliments to the groundskeeper team. Will be back soon

Contrary to some current reviews, the course is not in good condition.
Played this course months ago and only went back after reading some of the more current reviews saying the course was in good condition. It’s not. Fairways are still roughly 60% grass 40% dirt. Be prepared to pick up and drop on a grass patch after hitting it down the fairway and ending up in dirt. The rough is US Open penal in some areas which leads to a slower pace of play as players look for their balls in four inches of rough. A guy in my group lost two sleeves and many of his lost balls were *just* off the fairway. The rough seems more of a course maintenance issue (if it’s not the course needs to update its slope/rating). In literally any given 5 square foot radius on the course you can find a dirt patch next to normal muni rough next to 4-5 inches of rough. I found myself in about 5 inches of rough about a foot off the green a few times. Don’t even get me started on the “sand” traps (see pic).
The only positive thing about the course is the twilight price and layout. But moving forward I’ll be taking my business to better/properly maintained courses. Also, the round was 4hr 50min on a weekday.

Pace of play
Course was great friendly staff, greens in very good shape fairways pretty good .. pace of play was terrible had twosome.in front of us who took one hour to complete three holes / finally on 7th hole we went in front and pace was great after !

Good value
Great course of the price - mostly in good shape with only a few spots needing some love. Great layout, lots of fun.
