Fairways
Too many dry spots in fairways, greens need some TLC. For being a country club it needs attention

Great greens
Beautiful greens, very true, good speed! Fast paced round, great separation, no waiting around! Excellent job on maintaining the course!

3 1/2 Hr Round!
Checked in at the entrance, waited for playing partners and were teeing off less than 10 minutes later. Love that they are strict with the wearing of masks. Super friendly staff and course conditions were very good.
Oh Montebello. What’s wrong with you?
So, a few months ago, the ownership changed. We heard the City took over and kicked out everybody who had worked there. Very sad news. But - we figured may be the course will be maintained better? Changes? Nah. Still the same old awful-condition Montebello. We figured, what with Covid19, that break would help the course get the maintenance right, such as growing the grass??? Nah. Same old barren Montebello. And the bunkers are the same concrete caked mud, no sand. Just really sad. And the pro shop is empty. They have no scorecards so they handed out paper copies. And the restaurant is closed. The bathroom barely had any paper or soap, and we’re supposed to be washing our hands!!! All very depressing. And I don’t think the new management cares.

Weird...
I booked a tee time for 6:20 for me and my buddy. Evreything was going good until we got to the 8th hole. The dude that works there came out ans said we was 1 1/2 holes behind to hurry it up. The problem was that we was playing with dudes that were walking amd I even asked him before we started if we could go by ourselves as we were ridinf . we were going as fast as we could and the group behind us was nowhere insight. Very annoyed after that but other than that Meh for the price there is better all around L.A. county never again.

Beautiful day
Played the course after playing 2 other courses and I would have to say the course was the best of the 3! Been playing quite a bit lately and overall this course was up to par the first time in a long time. Maybe the quality of player improved because the divots on the green were mostly fixed. Great day and good game followed.
extra fee?
The golf course charged extra amount. Even though it is not much, it was unknown charge and will not come back to course!

After in 5 yrs off golfing
Some of the Bungkers can use additional sands But then again after off golfing for so long I forgot how it good it feel to hit those balls on the nice fairway . Looking forward to play again soon

Ehhhhh
Slow slow greens and mighty bumpy.
Had a few fairway shots off the hard packed mud/dirt.
Lots of patchy grass.
Layout is fair, except the last hole we played was 105 yard par 3. Not the best way to end things if your trying to get people to come back.

What happened to this course?
It's been about four years since I played here. I never imagined this course would turn into a cow pasture. I was very much surprised. I was told a new management company took over and I see the results. The bunkers were like concrete as well. Well for the price there are far to many nicer courses to play.
