Bella Verde Golf Club - Montebello 9 Course

Golf course is over pack without a ranger on site. And staff careless when addressed the poor pace of play!

Nice ciurse but way way way to long to play 18 holes

I was offered a round for free from a friend and I will never go back even for free

I only get weekends off and was not planning on spending entire Sat ( Like 7 Hours) playing

I played here years ago, and someone told me that many improvements were made, so I gave it a go. And, I realized why I don't play here. Slow pace is the back breaker though the course condition was better than average. Still, the condition was nothing to brag about. As the course is right next to a busy freeway, some of the holes were quite noisy. It's not a major issue, but occasional honking and air break noise can bother some golfers, I gather. I did hear from my father-in-law that the course offers nice deals to seniors, and I think that's great. This course is good for weekend warriors and seniors, but if you're looking for a challenging course or quick pace of play, take this one off of your list.

The guy at the front desk would not let us check in until 5 min before my tee time. The round was 6 hrs 15 min long. No marshals around on a course littered with fivesomes. No cart girl. Overall terrible golf experience.

I have booked for 2 30 supertwilight.. as soon as we checked in a asian staff has mentioned that your not going to finish anyways so come by 6 30pm, he was just ryde in a way. regardless of that we wanted to tee off and there were no marshall at the location.. everyone started at the time they want and due to that the course was packed! I meam super packed! there were 3 groups everytime we got to the next tee. Obviously I have called the pro shop and complaint that someone needs to be pushing thisthese groups and get them organized. He has just said "what you expect on a satursay", I have explained that its not my concerm if its busy or not I have paid and you need to send someone to get this course moved. Anyways we have spend almost 2 hours and half just to get to the 8th hole... and finally the marshall came and offered us to go back to 2nd tee and there were no line. Thank you for the solution but who does that?? does any body goes back and play the game just to make the time? well I will never go back to this place and please IF YOU GET TO BOOK. DO NOT BOOK AFTER 1PM. YOU WON'T FINISH THE COURSE.

3 hours and 5 minutes!!! That's how long it took just for the first 9 holes. And another 2 hours and 50 minutes for back 9.. It took almost 6 hours and it was the longest round I've ever played in a decade..

The greens were really nice today.They appear to be taken care of. Unfortunately this doesn't apply to the fairways or bunkers. Who has vegetation growing inside of their bunkers? Are you kidding me? They are also hard packed dirt, not sand. Someone needs to get into those things with a tiller and break it all up. As far as the fairways are concerned, my buddy and I were 10 feet apart in the fairway. He was on decent fairway grass, I was on hardpan. I may as well have been hitting off of the cartpath. Since it appears they are trying to partner with the local hotel, you would think they would put some focus on the conditions.

Eddie was so friendly and the course was in great shape.

Staffs are friendly although the condition of the course needs some improvements. Course Marshall need to improve his attitude to the golfers. Even though he was doing his best job, friendly and courteous words could make golfers a lot more comfortable.

Booked $45 green fee online, paid the service fee and balance was due at the course. The Pro Shop would not honor the price and charged my party $10 more each stating take it up up Golf Now. Course is in decent shape, some bare spots in fairway, greens in good shape, slow pace of play.

By the time we finished 13th hole, it took 4 hours and 20 minutes, when we reached 14th hole which is par 3, there were one group teeing off and 2 groups waiting in front of us, that's 3 groups, there were 2 groups in front of us every holes, told the Korean starter as we were leaving what happened and he said "what do you expect on a Saturday".

This is by far one of the slowest pace of golf I've ever experienced in my life. It took 4 hours to play 13 holes. They let out five sims, so I knew that it would be slower than usual, but this is not acceptable. every hole takes literally 25 to 30 minutes to play. plenty of sitting around doing nothing, and your body gets stiff. The rough is not even playable because they don't cut the grass there or there is no grass there. Only thing that saves this course is the deason gries. But it just takes so long to get to the green on each hole... I strongly strongly discouraged speedier golfers to play here.

THE ONLY THING I HAVE NEGATINE TO SAY IS BUNKERS NEED SAND, THE GREENS WERE GREAT,

Overall condition is fair, tee box and green are in good shape but fairway is pretty dry. Sand trap is solidly packed(not much sand). 19th hole is good stop.

Perfect greens, not a very hard course, pretty solid value.

We booked a 11:30 tee time at this place on a Saturday. It took 6.5 hours to play they over book it and let groups of 5 out. There is no Marshall making sure place improves. I understand you want to make money but if you improve speed you can have more players come out.

Good greens, poor sand traps, nice fairways and a good pace of play.

Enjoyed my round and will play again.
