Great Conditions
Love this course! Conditions are excellent for it being a public course. Greens are almost perfect except for the occasional jabroni player that doesn't fix his/her divots. Takes about 2 hrs tops to play and there is plenty of driver and 4 hybrid shots to keep it interesting. Greens are pretty flat too so nothing too technical for the newbie or intermediate player.
I really hope they invest in the other half of the old course and make it a full 18. As a neighbor, my biggest concern is they sell the land off to developers and turn into more condos that we don't need.
Also, please bring back the driving range!!!! MPK is so packed on the weekend and I'm sure you will make some profits off the range with auto tee function.
Looking forward to the clubhouse opening soon too since I have to hide my beer in a hydraflask while on the course. BYOB, but keep it ninja!!!!

Excellent 9 hole executive course
This 9 hole par 35 is a new layout with par 5,4,& 3. The course is in great shape and the greens are immaculate. The prison just opened and the overall facilities are beautiful. The only recommendation is they need a cart drink girl, other than that the course over looks the downtown LA sky line. Great course.

Would try again
The course was in mint condition for its inauguration of the new clubhouse, which is absolutely gorgeous. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the carts were brand new. Great practice areas for putting and chipping are available. Restrooms are accessible half way through the round. The first hole is a par 5 and most holes have challenging undulations. On this Saturday morning , we played behind a threesome that took 29 minutes to complete the first hole. Once we played through, we still waited at each hole but still finished in 2 hours. The food service was not yet available but refrigerators were placed in the dedicated area. Night golf is an option, but only six of the nine holes are lit up and playable.
Good tee time, weak body!
First time playing since it was an 18 Holer years ago. It's a nice 9 now. I hope the owners' redesign gamble of the whole property pays off.

Great addition to LA Golf
Fun for a ‘new’ course. Great to have another option around LA city golf. Although it is reduced to 9 holes, we played it twice for a full 18 from different tees. New grass tee to green, Bermuda all around (I believe). Cleaned up nicely. They combined 8/9 of the same holes from the precious layout. The only brand new hole is the finishing par3 9th hole. Overall, enjoyable. Still playing firm and fast as any new course would. Give it a few months to a year and it will be even better. Coming back! Paid $32 walking and $31 riding (Hot deal). Played at 7am and 940am. Finished at 1155am.

We used to play the old course, and were pleasantly surprise with the new 9-hole course. The club house wasn't open yet, but it looks like it will be nice when it is. The greens and fairways were in great shape, but people need to respect the course and fix their digits and ball marks.

Bermuda fairways (not kikuyu). Greens excellent, new carts, new cart paths, awesome crew👍
I’ve played here several times and pace is good. I see a lot of novice golfers here which is cool. Top golf right next to the course enticing new golfers to the course.
Greens are Soo nice but lots of ball marks. Let’s keep this hidden gem nice and fix your ball mark, plus two others if possible.
I fixed about 20 myself the other day.
Like I said, best condition municipal course in the area.
