Bella Verde Golf Club - Montebello 9 Course

This beautiful course is 3-5 minutes away from my place which is a plus!🙌🏼 It’s also very well maintained; only 2 cons would be is there’s no chipping green and the bar/kitchen is still not open. I will definitely continue playing here for the foreseeable future 🤙🏼

course is like the front nine of an18 holer. you use all your clubs and hit for distance.

lots of slopes; the course is hilly, just like Montebello.

The course condition was very good and the pace of play was good (finished within 2 hours for 9 holes) and players on the course were kind and staff were kind and overall experience was very enjoyable. I would consider playing another round here in the near future!

Pace of play was horrible they let a 5 some play together they were holding everyone up.

I came here to try the course out after learning it had been remodeled. 9 hole course is better than most executive courses. It has two Par 3 holes, one Par 5 hole and the rest are Par 4s. I rode so the price was just over $60. There are a lot of lounging chairs and tables but absolutely ZERO snack amenities or even a kitchen. For the price point, this course should offer so much more. The course was pretty empty and probably because of what the course has to offer.

hadn't played bella verde for about a month because of traveling. played yesterday& got lost in parking lot because new club house was open. will be terrific when everything is running. staff still friendly & helpful. great to be back.

Love this course! Conditions are excellent for it being a public course. Greens are almost perfect except for the occasional jabroni player that doesn't fix his/her divots. Takes about 2 hrs tops to play and there is plenty of driver and 4 hybrid shots to keep it interesting. Greens are pretty flat too so nothing too technical for the newbie or intermediate player.

I really hope they invest in the other half of the old course and make it a full 18. As a neighbor, my biggest concern is they sell the land off to developers and turn into more condos that we don't need.

Also, please bring back the driving range!!!! MPK is so packed on the weekend and I'm sure you will make some profits off the range with auto tee function.

Looking forward to the clubhouse opening soon too since I have to hide my beer in a hydraflask while on the course. BYOB, but keep it ninja!!!!

Beautifully maintained course. Staff are courteous and helpful. We love playing here. One of the best local course IMO.

This 9 hole par 35 is a new layout with par 5,4,& 3. The course is in great shape and the greens are immaculate. The prison just opened and the overall facilities are beautiful. The only recommendation is they need a cart drink girl, other than that the course over looks the downtown LA sky line. Great course.

The course was in mint condition for its inauguration of the new clubhouse, which is absolutely gorgeous. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the carts were brand new. Great practice areas for putting and chipping are available. Restrooms are accessible half way through the round. The first hole is a par 5 and most holes have challenging undulations. On this Saturday morning , we played behind a threesome that took 29 minutes to complete the first hole. Once we played through, we still waited at each hole but still finished in 2 hours. The food service was not yet available but refrigerators were placed in the dedicated area. Night golf is an option, but only six of the nine holes are lit up and playable.
