Monterey Park Golf Course

Overall experience was good. Range was good, especially with the automatic tee system. No need to grab a ball from the bucket or bend down to tee up ball. Easy to use system at the range to lower and higher the tee.

Course was in decent shape. Only thing that I didn't care for but it was no issue was that they had many hitting mats at the tee box at each hole. If you like elevation changes, you will like this course.

Purchased a small bucket of balls which is 45 balls and they gave me 30 balls only. Asked nicely twice but never resolved the issue. Will not recommend this driving range. Alhambra driving range is better

I would not play there again. It’s just not what I’m used to.

This is a public course that plays like a private one. It’s well-maintained, the staff are friendly, and it has better-than-most-LA-courses pace of play. More importantly though, the layout, with starting and ending Par 4’s, deep rough, rolling greens, and cannily-placed sand traps, forces you to think strategically about ball placement. My game has improved on all other courses just playing this course once a week.

Been playing this course over the years and it never disappoints. Brought the family out and they loved it.

I been playing in this course for some time now. It is great that is lighted and perfect to practice the short game. I usually practice on the short games on the field and the long irons at the range.

I dig this 9 hole. Very short and concise. One could practices on your short game for sure. Recommend to go during the am on weekdays because it could get crowded in the weekends. I will be regular since I live 10 minutes and can’t beat 10 bucks.
