talk about turning a course in to a dumpster fire
Poor course management and even worse pace of play. I honestly do not think I will ever play here again. No reason it should take nearly 3 hours to walk a par 3 style 9 hole course.
Divots
Played @ 7:45am finished by 9:15. Only @ 9th hole got held up. Overall it was good day. Maintenance well, just golfers not fixing divots at all
Fun and challenging par 3
The first and 9th hole are par 4's and they are fun to play. The holes between are also enjoyable. The hills create a challenge and if your not wearing proper shoes, you might slip. Overall I enjoy playing this nice, clean and inexpensive course. I will be coming back again and again.
Pace of Play is Increasingly an Issue
I love this golf course. It's my home course being less than 5 minutes away from my house. I generally love playing here, and the driving range is one of the best in the area.
Recently, however, the pace of play has gotten incredibly slow. There are a lot of new players it seems, and while I love to see new players take up golf for the future of the sport, they're not necessarily aware of etiquette.
In particular, ready-golf is the style that is played at this golf course in accordance to their rules. However, I see many 3 and 4-somes playing by who's furthest from the pin and generally not with mindful consideration of groups behind them. I rarely see slower groups be self-aware of that fact and let faster groups/individuals behind them play through. This can easily turn a 45 min solo round into an hour and a half.
This is an easily solvable problem if there were a marshall making the rounds getting slower groups to pick up the pace, but I don't think I've seen a person filling this role here once in all the time I've been playing here.
This hasn't been a problem in the past, but more and more it's just getting worse. The viability of a lunchtime golf round here is disappearing.
Overbooked my reservation.
I prepaid for 4 quests, but one became ill. And could not make it.
The starter said to contact you for a refund. Is That possible,?
Replace Tee box mats!
We may have had a better playing experience if the tee box mats were in better condition. The mats and the ground around them are severely deteriorated! .Removal of all the overlapping worn out mats before installing new ones would be a great improvement.
