Situated within the Oakland Hills, Lake Chabot Golf Course offers stunning views that stretch across Oakland, Bay Bridge, and the Lake Chabot area. The course has been a local favorite since it first opened in 1932. Slight changes have been made over the years to improve the layout but it has always maintained its playability. The terrain is hilly, which makes flat lies hard to find. Accuracy and precise shot placement will get you far. The stretch of holes from the 15th to the finish has the best scenery on the golf course. From the risk-reward 15th hole, you can see all the way to San Francisco. The unique final hole is a par 6 that plays to a whopping 673 yards from the back tees. It's a straight, downhill hole with a memorable view.

Great course
I’ve played here twice. If I rated it based on how good of a score I got the it’s be 1 star, but rating it based on how well the course is maintained and the overall condition, perfect score
Good golf course
We really enjoyed playing this 18-hole golf course. The layout was beautiful and the round was a lot of fun. The only thing to be aware of is that the putting greens were very sandy, which made putting a bit challenging. Overall, still a great experience on the course.
Neighborhood course
Would be nice to have something to eat and a beverage after the round can’t wait till the clubhouse is finished
Horribly maintained fairways and rough
The fairways in rough were in terrible condition. The only reason it's not getting one star is because the greens were okay.
Some Tee Boxes were pretty torn up, but fairways and greens were in really good condition. Greens were super fast and hard to read. Overall Very Happy with the course. I’ve seen it A Lot worse in the past.

Challenging course but very playable with excellent bay area views. Snack stand offers delicious food with great service.
My golf
It was a fine day for golfing. Grouped with a great 3some. Golf Course was a great challenge for the game. Today, good shots outnumbered the bad shots. Felt like I was doing something right on my swing. Will play the course again soon weather permitting.

Interest Course
This is a pretty interesting course with par 6 closing hole and 40 feet drop on par 3 9th hole. Couse can be challenging especially if you are not used to hilly courses. Always fun playing here.
