About
Situated within the Oakland Hills, Lake Chabot Golf Course offers stunning views that stretch across Oakland, Bay Bridge, and the Lake Chabot area. The course has been a local favorite since it first opened in 1932. Slight changes have been made over the years to improve the layout but it has always maintained its playability. The terrain is hilly, which makes flat lies hard to find. Accuracy and precise shot placement will get you far. The stretch of holes from the 15th to the finish has the best scenery on the golf course. From the risk-reward 15th hole, you can see all the way to San Francisco. The unique final hole is a par 6 that plays to a whopping 673 yards from the back tees. It's a straight, downhill hole with a memorable view.

My golf
It was a fine day for golfing. Grouped with a great 3some. Golf Course was a great challenge for the game. Today, good shots outnumbered the bad shots. Felt like I was doing something right on my swing. Will play the course again soon weather permitting.

Interest Course
This is a pretty interesting course with par 6 closing hole and 40 feet drop on par 3 9th hole. Couse can be challenging especially if you are not used to hilly courses. Always fun playing here.
Very challenging course. Not a long course but narrow and lots of blind shots! Fairway needs improvement but for the value and greens are decent shape. Not bad at all, will be coming back soon! People, please fix your divots on the greens!
Pace of play
Group in front of us had no golf etiquette. Not wearing golf attire. Played from the blues hit there drives 100 to 200 yds. Waited for greens to clear on par 4’s and par 5’s. They were terrible golfers. No marshal to speed up play.

Teed off at 7 AM and finish by 9:30 AM my kind of round
