Good course
It is a flat course that even beginners can enjoy.
SO MUCH PROMISE
This is a really great track and tremendous value. The holes are challenging but fair and the layout is picturesque and memorable. The trouble is the greens. They are bumpy, super slow and the slopes restrict where the pin can be placed. I doubt they will ever be renovated but that’s what Sharp Park needs to be great!
Good price to play
The course is suitable for walking. The price is attractive to play golf in Bay Area.
Sharp Park
Excellently designed golf course. Super fun. For the end of November, fairway conditions were great. Greens were pretty bumpy so we decided to hit it close…:). Weather was perfect but it was busy and we did not get to play the last four holes. We started at 1:20
The GREEENS
Are the greens diseased with something? Patchy and folks can't seem to fix their ball marks make for some sad playing greens.
Needs love
Couldn’t get a putt right because of all the bumps and imperfections. Some tee boxes look like they had been through war. Bunkers were bad. Still an enjoyable walk.
Good for what you pay for
Greens were very bumpy and no one I mean no one repairs ball marks. Some tee boxes were awful and the bunkers need work and sand. Fairways weren’t cut too well but fine. Still enjoyed the round but if your looking for a well maintained course this might not be your first choice.
Soggy, but quite good
The wetness was purely due to the huge storm 3 days before, and I'd say the course was doing pretty good considering. The greens are decent, but not great. I think it's partly because too many golfers ignore their pitch marks. This course can challenge you, but it's very playable for high handicappers as well. I'll be back for sure.
Friday Play
The course is in great condition greens are challenging but roll true. Stay below the hole or try to avoid a 3 putt!
