It’s a good course and a good value for your money

I enjoyed the course. The greens were good and fast.

Probably my third or fourth time playing Hansen Dam. The course was in good shape. Greens were fast and rolled true. Only downside was on the back nine we ended up in a log jam so overall it took us 4 hours and 45 minutes to finish 18 which is just too slow. That’s the first time I’ve experienced a pace of play issue at Hansen though. Other than that it was a fun round.

I played this course 4 times in a row. Love it. The track is awesome. Very challenging greens to read. However, there tends to be lots of beginners and they could benefit from having a marshall to keep pace of play. I've seen people drive on greens/tee boxes. Could upgrade the bar/restaurant well. Seems neglected.

As I walked in the guy from the cart barn said I bring a few carts around. The guy at the desk said that h is couldn’t need them. I proceeded to check in, he told me that the cart fees were additional on top of what we’d paid online. Cool, no problem. Paid, then asked for 2 keys one for each of us. he said no, you have to ride together. I said well I just paid for Two carts. He said, that is not how it works handed me one key and told me I was up next.

Left confused, wondering why he was blatantly trying to work me out of 16 bucks on a county course.

It was nice muni course to play. But beware this - I booked HotDeal which states cart fees included; however, the staff did not honor cart fees and charge me $36 for two players.

One of the most underrated courses in the area. Play the tips and it’s a really good test.

Rudest service woman I have ever dealt with. Hansen Dam charges $3.00 for 8 ounces of ice. Yep.
