About
DeBell Golf Club in Burbank offers an 18-hole Regulation Course and a nine-hole disc golf course. The Regulation Course has a tight layout with narrow fairways and a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Accuracy is the key to doing well on this golf course but it's not overly punishing. Its risk-reward holes will appeal to low and high handicappers alike. The front nine is fairly challenging but the back nine is where the golf course gets tough. Although DeBell Golf Club is short, only 5,608 yards from the back tees, the blind shots and winding doglegs make it seem much longer than it is. There isn't any water on the golf course but you'll hardly miss its presence with all the other hazards that lurk throughout.

Unplayable greens without warning
This is a strange course, lots of short dog leg holes that require less than driver off the tee. Tight fairways require precision with irons. The course was aerated when I played. Greens were literally unplayable (photo shows the "best" green of the day...). Some holes had an inch of uneven sand around the cup. There was no notice on the website about the aeration. Very disappointing, quit after 9 holes.
First time playing - solid course
Course was solid for the price. Good balance of proximity to my home, difficulty, and price. They had a beverage cart. And pace of place was decent but could have been better. I don’t see a starter or anyone riding around helping to improve pace of play. Be warned All of the holes dogleg
Pin placement
I’m a mid 80 handicap golfer. This is a super hard narrow couse with multi tier sometimes tiny greens.
Like it is not hard enough to reach them , the pin placement that day was placed for professional golfers
Just too hard to want to come back .
2 Stars and why!
They should tell you before you start that the course is under construction! Some tee boxes were not usable and had temporary tee boxes making a par 4 essentially a par 3! The greens for the most part were decent , however there were some greens in terrible shape and looked like they were recovering from a bitter cold winter, however we played in great weather at the end of October. We would have loved to play this course when it’s in prime shape, however the 80’s are well behind us for that to happen!

Challenging Course but fun
This course is great unless your drives go left or right because there is so much out of bounds and easy to lose your golf ball.
I would recommend for those who want a beautiful view with some challenges.
Pace of play so slow, had to quit after 9.
The pace of play was so slow that it made for a terrible day on the course.
After slogging through a 2 hour and 40 minute front 9, we arrived on hole 10 to see a group on the green, a group on the fairway, and 3 groups on the tee box waiting to tee off.
It was at that point my companion and I decided to pull the plug and call it a day.
Beautiful views
This course not only offers a great golf experience but the views are absolutely spectacular. We had lunch prior to playing. Food was excellent and the service was friendly. Overall a great experience.
