2 Holes under repair
Even with 2 holes under repair, this course played better than the average course. Tee boxes in good shape and we'll placed. Greens had plenty of action.
Not very accommodating staff
I booked on golf now but booked the wrong date - my bad. The pro shop would not allow me to change my T time. They got paid, I didn’t golf. Not a very accommodating staff.
The Vinyard Escondido
Course continues to neglect bunkers...fairways have seen better days, they are resodding some and will need to do some more given heavy watering and damage from carts/equipment. Ok deal for prices on Golfnow....
OLD DANGEROUS CARTS/ SLOW PACE
My buddy and I were paired with a single “Ridley” who on the first tee, Ridley slammed his golf cart into our cart at the forward tees injuring my buddy’s back and giving me an immediate headache. We did, of course, play anyway. Uncomfortably, but we played. Ridley returned the cart right away and got a another one. He said he did report it.
When I first picked our cart from the staging area, I noticed all the seats have the front corners frayed or torn snagging golfers without a doubt. There are no windshields either. No GPS. It is time for the Vineyards to invest in new carts.
I love the Vineyards, but the pace is always slow. With two ponds in the first 3 holes it’s an inevitable slow start. They REALLY should swap the nines to for a better start for amateurs and improve pace
Great course
It was a great course but our golf cart died and we got complaints when it wasnt our fault
Twilight golf
We love this course, have date night there. Our only complaint is they turn the sprinklers on at 7:30 & we have to stop playing. Please plz change the time to later so we can keep golfing!! Thx
Used to be a great course, but has suffered tremendously! I won’t play here anymore
Used to play this course all the time back a few years ago, and wanted to see what it’s like since it’s been two years! I cannot believe how poor the conditions have become, and how the staff have no care in the world about your experience!! The conditions from tee to green were poor, where the greens had so many bumps on them, you could never get a good roll on the ball! The bunkers are not even bunkers anymore and you would scratch your club if you hit out of their sand!! The worst thing about the round was the pace of play! It took 5 hours to play, and it took 3 hours to complete the back nine. There was a slow group of 4 guys in front of us and had no one in front of them. I called the pro shop twice and was told they would help the pace, and not one time someone came out to help us!!! The whole experience was abysmal, and I will never come back to this course! What a shame since it used to be great and it has a great layout!
Course in good condition. Pace was better than expected.
Course was in good condition. Pace of play was good, as a foursome we finished in 4 hours. Staff was friendly. Chicken Caesar wrap from the snack bar/restaurant was great.
Enjoyed a Great Round
I was impressed by some real long 4 Pars. You need real accurate fairway wood shot specially for a Senior Golfer like me. It was therefore a nice challenging Game. Some of the Fairways have difficult undulations making the challege enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this well managed course for a good round of challeging Golf Game.
18 holes at the Vineyards
Got deal from GolfNow app.
Temp was in mid 90's with a slight breeze that felt good.
Had foursome in front of us that split into 2 twosomes on the back nine. They moved along ok.
Course was in good shape. Greens were good.
Bunkers needed attention... all hard packed.
Used 19th hole for Hotdogs & Beers. 🌭🍻
Service and quality very good.
Overall, a good day to play in the sun🌞🏌♂️⛳️
Course was in poor condition
The bunkers were solid hard sand. Lots of areas under repair. Greens were 7/10.
Fun Coarse
Had never been to the coarse. It has some narrow areas and a couple water hazards. It was super fun to play and challenging at times. It was very well maintained. If you get a chance, enjoy a round at this course.
Overpriced, Understaffed w/ slow play
Course is not a value at the 75 dollar weekend rate. 40-55 is more appropriate. Not in the best shape either
No ranger, starter, or beverage cart. Staff let a 5 some off in front of us. 5.5 hour round of golf. Waiting on every tee and green. 3 hole gap between that group and the next by the end of the round.
The practice facilities do look really cool though.
