Slow pace

Had a 5 some group ahead of our group who slowed down the game significantly . Looks like this course allows more than 4 people to play as a group

Great day of golf

The course was in great shape with the exception of the bunkers. They were unplayable. One of our group even injured his elbow trying to hit out of one. I just decided to remove my ball and play from the grass. The greens were awesome.

I saw this course a little over a year ago and it was in real bad shape. Great job bring the course back. Keep up the good work.

18 holes at The Vineyards

Started on time.

Teed off as group in front of us were approaching green

Never had to wait on tee box until 15th hole.

Pace of play was excellent.

Course conditions very good.

Sand traps needed maintaining, as "sand" was hard packed

Got turkey sandwich and it was very good.

Overall... a very good day.

Pros: staff friendly, nice driving range, club house/ bar nicely equipped. Fairways and course set up is good

Cons: bunkers very hard and not maintained properly, greens bumpy and slow, pace of play was 5 1/2 hours on a Saturday.

Overall: pricey for what you get in quality of course and pace of play.

Will be back but hope the course is better maintained.

Don’t use the Bunker

I know its my fault ending up in the bunker, but i should be not hitting oit of sand hard as concrete.

Beautiful course in great condition. Priced well below anything comparable in southern California. nice restaurant and friendly staff. Looking forward to playing here the next time I visit the area.

Conditions have gone downhill

I live in MA, but visit my sister in San Diego frequently. I have played this course many times in the past since it's close and affordable. The greens had always been in good condition, so I was surprised by their condition this time. The greens were slow and a little bumpy. There were plenty of areas in the fairways that were bare and brown. There are many large bunkers near the fairways and around the greens, but there seemed to be only one rake for every bunker. I'm sad to see the course get to this state, and hopefully it will get back to where it used to be.
