Lake Spivey Golf Club

Great course to play for the money, layout is very nice and it's in good condition. Not the fault of management but seems like the pace of play is very slow. I've seen as many as 8 guys playing together in a single group. We play there fairly regularly though and for what it costs you won't be disappointed. Very friendly staff and descent pro shop

I’m not the best golfer so I don’t expect much, but this was just a decent course. Some greens were terrible while some were in great condition. The thing I didn’t like was how there was pretty much 0 amenities. Hard to find a trash can, place to clean my balls, and every single place where there should’ve been a water station there was no water.

I just played a day after it rained so I understand not everything with the course is going to be good, but when you have one green that has long grass in the middle of it that’s a problem. Also the tee box going to hole 10 there’s no signage and you have to drive down a neighborhood street which I just laughed at because there was no signage. Again not good but it wasn’t terrible.

Thank you Golf Now for introducing me to Lake Spivey! I would not have known about it otherwise. It was a bit of a drive, 40 minutes, but great value! I’ll be back!

The greens and cart paths are horrible. The greens had more weeds than a country farm garden. The cart paths will send you to the chiropractor if not your PCP for px meds. Price was only a few dollars less than Ga National and I would have expected more for that price. Highly disappointed and I won’t be going back.

This course is horrible it’s worth about 5$ can’t tell the greens from the fairways, which both are horrible. Don’t waste your time here.

Don’t let ad fool you. They have 19 holes but only 18 are used. It’s more of a backup hole. Greens were in decent condition. They had just sanded some. Felt like those rolled quicker than the others. Fun layout.

I really like the staff. They make you feel welcomed. That being said the greens are slow. That’s the only problem I have with the course

Paired up with 2 other guys and enjoyed meeting new friends and playing a round of golf with them. Heard about Lake Spivey from a friend and decided to try it out. Glad we did, we will play again.

I bought an 18 hole tee times at 4:50 PM through GolfNow when I went to check in they told me that the front nine was closed because they have a weekly scramble so if I wanted to play 18, I had to play the back twice. That’s not what I paid for so I’m a little disappointed that Lake Spiveywould advertise a tee time through Golf Now when they’re having a private nine hole tournament.

Decent course. Nice layout. Need to put a few more dollars into the course. Greens were not consistent at all! I like the location of the course and the staff.

Lots of water too hot you’re balls into. My only issue is there is no drinking water on the course. On a hot day, bring a lot of drinks to keep yourself hydrated. The greens are in great shape for the $50 fees. I had a lot of fun. The tee boxes and fairways are concrete hard. Recommended.

Decided to try to give this course another shot after poor customer service could only play the front nine twice which was OK due to the fact they had a men’s league plan on the back. Mine was just myself and my son who’s four years old pretty quickly got to the Front nine again had some other people in front of us playing pretty slow didn’t get finished till after eight some gentlemen by the name of Mr. Coleman put his bag in my cart. Basically didn’t really give me much time to make sure I had all my items removed from the cart, then proceeded to ask me who this gentleman was I have to ask him first told him I would not be coming back and he said he didn’t want me back not maintained. It was geese pooping all over one grain we had to skip a hole Not worth the money nor the hassle

Tee boxes are practically sand traps. Fairways aren’t much better. Greens appeared to have undergone recent repairs. They have no food ant the club house. Overall not worth it.
