Tee boxes were horrible. I’m a senior playing their gray tees. 7 of there tee boxes didn’t have a gray tee box. Rough is definitely rough. Practice area were in poor conditions. I don’t recommend this course

Greens need to be cut. Like putting on shag carpet

They need to keep working on the greens. They’re very slow . The fairways are in good condition

So as an avid golfer, and not being in Georgia for more than a decade because of military service, I was excited to see how this course has been maintained since I haven’t played it in so long. After arriving, the clubhouse is absolutely terrible. There were maybe 3 dozen balls available for purchase inside. No clubs. No clothes. Not even ball markers or poker chips. Oh. There was one umbrella that I could have bought. Instead of having professional looking signs to note that the 7th hole was under maintenance and closed, they had grabbed and taped together several pieces of paper and had what looked like their 5 year old write on it. I paid $70 on a Sunday morning, reasonable for a weekend. But once I hit the course, I wish I could have just gotten my money back. After it took me 5 minutes to get my tee into the ground because the tee boxes are so hard, I hit a perfect shot into a fairway that was apparently just as firm and my ball proceeded to take several huge bounces and found the water hazard that was more than 300 yards out. No problem. Drop, hit into the green, make it to the green to see that there at least 4 different types of grass growing. Including weeds popping up that change the trajectory of your putts constantly. If you’re looking for a quality course on the south side of Atlanta, this isn’t it. Go to Crystal Lake. Much better maintained and around the same price. Plus a gorgeous clubhouse and they offer beverage carts as well, which Spivey doesn’t. As a military member and golfer, I’ve played courses all over the world. This has to be one of the worst I’ve ever been on. Complete disappointment..

Good course for beginners, wide fairways. The greens need some work.

The course is in bad shape. Most courses in the area at the price they charge are 10x better. Beautiful area but the course has not kept up.
