Lake Spivey Golf Club

I had a 2 PM tee time and they said they had over booked, had no carts and that I would have to wait about 40 minutes.

This did not work for me and I left. I got a great deal on Golf Now so they couldn't refund me at the course. Too much trouble to get my money back from Golf Now. Oh well.

Quit today's round after nine holes. Had two golf carts die on us: one after 5 holes, the other after an additional 4 holes. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened at Lake Spivey, we had carts die on us on two previous occasions over the past year. Complained to the course check-in person before we even started our round, and after the nine holes. They were not very sympathetic, except to say that their carts are 15 years old. They were not willing to offer a rebate, saying that we needed to contact GolfNow. I would recommend taking Lake Spivey off the GolfNow roster, and I would like to get some sort of a rebate, for my twosome. You can contact me at 7703880305

Course is struggling to clear leaves off course.

My main complaint is the greens are bumpy, making it difficult ti put and make putts.

Best value for your money. Strong layout and in very good condition. Customer Service in 2nd to none!

I've played this course a dozen times over the summer. It's always in fantastic shape. Played last week and the greens were in terrible shape and leaves were all over the course. Couldn't find ball even if it was 2 yards off fairway.

Hands down one of the worst kept courses around. Greens are unplayable. No mention (or warning) from staff or signage in the pro shop. The insult is that they have raised the price while the quality of the course has gone down. More attractive deals in the area, with significantly better conditions.

Iam reminded why I'd don't book here. The course track is fun but the greens are atrocious. It should not be considered a green but more like a fairway or temporary green. I think they had 1 decent green but was so slow due to over growth. I will not block here again until they get the greens worked out. I was stunned to hear that they were hosting a tournament. Greens can't be putted on, so save ur money and play golf elsewhere.

Approx 6 greens were temporary. The others were fuzzy with bare spots.i was not told by GOLFNOW when I booked. I would never have booked. I am so disappointed. I paid for the 3 other members in my group. The total round cost 110.00.

Don’t go near this course for at least a year. Worst conditions of a golf course I have ever played. Greens were worse than fairways. A bunch of temporary greens and they claimed to stay they were under construction but there was clearly no work being done to the course. Don’t waste your money or time.

Lake Spivey currently has several “temporary greens”. Makeshift fairway greens. Still charging $48.
