Lake Spivey Golf Club

I was greeted by friendly staff who made the round pleasurable.

Lake Spivey course conditions are not the best. The fairways do not have grass and the greens are very patchy. The greens have not been rolled or cut. The chipping and putting area is in need of repair. It is not worth the money I spent.

I enjoyed the experience, however there were a few instances when my group did not k ow where to go. Also, when we made the turn I wanted to grab a snack but the kitchen wasn’t open.

The course has a really nice layout and very forgiven.. but greens need a little more TLC. But overall a nice course and I will be back

Great course to play with professional and friendly staff

The staff was extremely friendly. It was very noticeable they care for the customers. That makes it difficult to give an overall poor rating The greens were very poor, not just a couple, almost all. I played a course on Tuesday in Augusta, Ga that was aerated using a large punch, and they rolled much better than the greens at Lake Spivey.

I have a friend that just relocated to the area, so I drove 2.5 hours to play Lake Spivey with him and we were so disappointed. The layout is very good, but the overall course condition is poor. The course has so much potential.

Nice course good fairways and traps. Well maintained and a few well placed trees. The greens need a cut as they were really slow. Some of them have heat spots so they may be growing them tondealnwith the bad spots. Also there were a few really wet areas. Also the sign going to seven was confusing it needs to be marked better.

Nice track. They ha e reversed the front and back nine. The greens were in bad shape. Tee boxes were ok but markers are faded.

I love the course when it's in goog playing shape. However, the courss is in need of maintenance! Staff is satisfactory but could extend a little more courte8 and less arrogance!

I played this course about 5 months ago and I promised not to go back because of the terrible condition of the greens. While playing a different course, the individual I was paired with told me all the greens had been reworked and was in great shape. I decided to go back because it's close to where I live. BAD decision! The guy was either confused about the course I was talking about or there is more than one Lake Spivey. As you can see from the photos they are bad. I complained to GOLFNOW and the course reported they had just aerated the greens and that's why they were sandy. You be the judge.

Clubhouse was nice. Staff was friendly. Course conditions weren’t great.

Was impressed with the friendly staff. Course is setup for all players. A few greens need repair work but overall nice fairways and tee boxes. Will visit this course again.

This course is great. My friend is semi pro and loved it. He shot a 71 and hit some tough shots. I would highly recommend this course.

The staff were very nice. The greens need work but you can see they are trying to bring them along. My suggestion would be to lower the price until the greens are back up to par.
