Lake Spivey Golf Club

Simply awful greens...

Looks like they do not take care of the greens.

Bumps and bald spots all over the greens.

Fairways are ok, but could be much better. Too thin grass and too many bald places.

Nice 18 hole course with plenty of par 4s and par 5s. Course condition was good for late January. Very friendly staff and good pace of play

The greens were just ok, the bathrooms were locked, fairway #10 very soggy 200 yards off

I frequent this course about once a month. It's a great value. In general it's in great shape. A few greens could use some work. Good Fairways. And the starter and other staff here are really friendly.

The carts die EVERY SINGLE TIME I’ve played there. Booked a 1:40 tee time and couldn’t tee off until 2:15 because they didn’t have enough carts. Always way too busy. Staff acts completely oblivious to the fact that their carts die and they have an overall shortage of carts. Honestly just a terrible value for what you’re getting. Wouldn’t recommend this course to anyone.

Came here the day after we got a lot of rain. The course was in great shape, especially the greens. Staff was very friendly.

It's not going to "wow" you, but it's always good value. I recommend it.

Poor service. Staff would have rather been anywhere else than at work. Trash in course had been there for days

It was a bad day at Lake Spivey, I don’t know what was going on they must only have 20 golf carts for the whole course. My cart died on hole on hole 5, had to walk to the club house and wait for 30 minutes to get another cart. I only got to pay 8 holes because the pace of pay was terrible. Me and my playing partner should’ve gotten a rain check for today.

Children are running the club house. 12 people on the first tee and the cart died. No thanks.

With the cold & wet forecast predicted for late afternoon Sunday we decided to take a chance at Spivey (Mainly because there was ZERO tee times available elsewhere. and I've played there a few times) We arrived to grab some range balls and pay for the round.

The young man at the counter was very pleasant, so much so that I remarked to my friends about how nice he was (for being a young millennial). The starter was also nice and extremely knowledgable. The course was in good, but not great shape and it looks like it's starting to decline somewhat....not sure what that's about, although I did hear rumors that the whole place was up for sale. We were a little disappointed that the restaurant was not open and the ladies were VERY UPSET that none of the restrooms on the course were open. I get it, but it aint rocket science......how hard is it to clean the restrooms. Over all it was a pretty good day and we just did beat the rain. We Will Be Back.

This coarse holds water. The layout is nice and it’s in decent condition. But they were out of carts when we arrived. One cart barely made it 6 holes, the other cart just made it 9 holes and one of the replacements only made half way through 15 so we had to walk the last 3 1/2 holes. We tried to call the pro shop but went straight to voice mail.
