Lake Spivey Golf Club

No range balls, greens were a mess, cart path was a mess, fairways we're awful. Never paying this course again.

Once you arrive at the first hole you realize why the slope on this course is what it is. I’ve shot 10 over both times here. Very challenging.

Gotten straight

the course is very nice very nice place to play golf but the counter guy was very rude because I paid for my tee time online and I have a group that plays on Monday now it doesn't make a difference or when the tee time is made because we all go out at the same time it's all the same so I didn't understand why he was being rude but its very nice and a good place to play I was suggested to a friend.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to play since the starting tee had 4 groups of 4 waiting to tee off and we figured it would be an hour before we could start. This mainly happened because there was no starter to regulate when groups were allowed to tee off. We were told afterwards that there are tournament groups throughout the day every weekend. They were the ones causing the jam at the start as they jump in front of people with scheduled tee times. Our tee time was 11:50 and we arrived around 11:15 but already the course was so busy that we didn't get a cart until very close to our tee time. Meanwhile, there were several groups (assuming for the tournament) with carts sitting at the practice green.

I've played this course before and it's usually a decent place to play. It's currently priced higher than previous years which is okay considering the demand but the intentional overcrowding of the course is a good reason to avoid. I'll definitely be staying away from this place this summer after reading some of the other reviews about the pace of play and the conditions.

I enjoy playing this course. Some of the holes are challenging, but that's probably more of an operator error! Keep it in the fairway and don't leave putts short; you'll have a fun time!

Could have been cause we went out a day after it rained, but some of the greens were nearly unplayable. Large patches of sand and dirt on some of them, slow, and apparently no one fixes their divots here. Tee boxes were also very rough. Fairways were fine and it’s a very fun layout but just needs better maintenance and this could be a 4 star course.

Tough little track. Greens are slow like putting in sand. Great value though.

Like the fact that it was only $20 to walk where a lot of golf courses seem to include a cart in the fee whether you want one or not. Course was in terrific condition with the greens very receptive but maybe a little on the slow side. Receptive and slow is better than fast and hard though. Pace of play was very good and might just make this my Wednesday golf course even with it being a 50 minute drive.

I've played many courses here in Atlanta over my years of playing golf but lake spivey has transformed itself into one of the best courses here in Atlanta the greens are in excellent shape the fairways are in great condition and of course is just totally immaculate come and see.

The course has a few repairs going on but for the price it was a decent round. Friendly, helpful staff but masks were optional in the pro shop which concerned me. I played early and the pace of play was good.

Has become one of our nicest public golf courses I have ever seen great price and the course is in excellent condition

Very fun course that gave me quite a challenge on the front. Old school golf on the front where conservative play and course management are key. The back opens up a bit more and is easier to use a driver on most tees. The gentlemen that was the starter provided us with great information on the course before teeing off. Will be back again.

I’ve played Lake Spivey about 15 Times and each time it offers a welcomed challenge to play.
