Greens are getting better, but still need a little work.

Course need work on the greens, and the tee boxes...some fairways have water should be marked as unplayable

Greens need some work. Med to slow speed. Had alit of big leaf grass on the green.

Need some work greenside too.

Overall need to lower cost to match course condition

Played here from 1998 to 2003. Club house restaurant is much improved. Course is basically the same. Part has been altered to put in new houses, but most of that is took one fairway and open woods. Greens are in bad shape. Carts will lock and quit working if you try to operate off the cart path. Fairways are decent enough. Some major attention needed on the greens. We picked up after one put on half of them.

The greens are better, but need time to grow in, they should be good in about a week.

Is now pretty much a dump ... not sure what happened

We play this course at least once a week, they are losing the greens. Crabgrass growing in the greens, heats spots.

I rated it so low because the greens are terrible that's why I would not recommend it to anyone right now putting is not very true .the greens are very shaggy with weeds all over along with dead grass . One green was covered in goose terds dont know what happened but usually the greens are great.will not be going back anytime soon

Just wish Golf Now and the courses would coordinate when the greens have just been punched. I would love the opportunity to chose another course in the event of this. It's funny because the guy in clubhouse didn't mention it. I knew nothing about it until the STARTER told me. Beautiful day, fun round, ( first time here) just feeling like the course and the GOLF Now should give a heads up, especially if I book a tee time after hours.

I will start off by saying Lake Spivey is (was) one of my favorite courses in Atlanta. The course is usually in fantastic shape and the price to play is very reasonable. However, I was deeply disappointed in the condition of the course when I played it a few days ago. I only play courses that are rated 4-stars and above. Lake Spivey not only had their course rated as 4-stars, they never mentioned that the course was being aerated. And they charged the regular price to play the same 9 holes twice. I can tell you I have “never” played on greens in that bad of shape (aerated plugs, sand, lots of weeds, and most greens had large burnt-out mud spots. The 9 holes we were forced to play should have been closed. I’m now expecting the greens to recover anytime soon so my advice is to avoid playing here until you are sure what the green conditions are.

They have improved since I last played this course. The GPS on the carts was new and a great help!!!

Played Spivey a lot over the years, like the layout and generally can navigate from the blues in 3 hours. I noticed the greens were in trouble a month ago. Played the last round with the back nine closed for repair. And the front nine jammed with a Elder statesman tournament. Brutal paste of play! Gave up after eight holes.
