Lake Spivey Golf Club

The greens ran very slow in the morning due to the rain we had Friday and early Saturday, the greens just need to get cut a few times so the ball can roll, felt like I had to really give the ball some power to get it to roll 12 yards. Tee boxes were pretty much all sand, need to move the tees to allow new growth. I’ll def play this again to give a better review.

The course was ok. Most of the greens were really nice. A few had bad spots on them. Tee boxes were not good with lots of trash and hard ground. Fairways were ok. For the hot deal price I would play again but not for full price.

Great and fun course to play at. The staff were awesome and friendly. Had a good number of holes with bodies of water, which made it both beautiful and challenging. Pace was a bit slow because of the group of beginners ahead of us but the course overall was very well kept and pristine. The only negative feedback I have was the cart path - it's due for maintenance. I ended up wearing my coffee instead of drinking while on the cart path to the next hole.

Bar restaurant not open. Gentleman running the front was on a personal call the entire time I was trying to check in. The tee boxes where dirt, around the greens was just crab grass and the greens where just grass cut low. It was like putting on a shag carpet. Worst course in a 50 mile radius.

The tees were terrible. Greens were not mowed and unreliable. Fairways were ok. As you are driving to the course, the neighborhood was beautiful so you expect a similar experience at the course. The course should reflect the area it is in and it lacked the expectation of a quality course. With a little bit of love and attention, could be a jewel but until then wouldn’t recommend a return.

Lake Spivy Golf Course is an excellent choice for a golf outing! The course has appropriate challenges for both newer and experienced golfers. The staff is courteous and friendly. I enjoy playing the Lake Spivy ⛳ Golf Course.

This place is not what it once was. Almost $100 for 2 people to play a course not being taken care of. It is ridiculous. They have closed the restaurant nd let the course go. I can not believe that in a community this affluent someone would even be allowed to buy a prestigious place just to let it go and devalue everything around it. Greens are terrible only 2 or 3 are playable on the entire course.

The greens were freshly sanded and arated and tee boxes could use some work. The staff was very friendly but not the greatest course conditions
