Pico Rivera Golf Club

Had a blast at this course for the first time being there, it surprised me how well maintained the course is and how friendly the staff was, I will difinetly will be going back.

This review is for early morning rounds - great beginners Par 3 / 9 hole course. Pace was good - however there can be groups of six that can possibly slow the pace. Overall, fairly clean and easy course at a fair price.

Pico has come a long way and it has paid off. The course is in top form shape. Bunker placement and the greens are not easy to get around. Perfect place to tune up your game but still have fun doing it. This is one of the better par 3 nine holes in the LA area. The bar and grill are fully stocked as well (good food and craft beers). FYI, I paid $11 thru Golf Now.... well worth the price!

After booking a tee time, I drove 30 miles to get there and the course was closed.

To overly populated with players who don't appreciate the game of golf. Loud speakers bumping their music being super loud and obnoxious leaving beer at the tee boxes

Pico Rivera Golf Course is a gem of a short course. The trees and rough that frame the fairways don't severely penalize but, instead, make getting par harder. The two short Par 4s place danger near the green to dissuade long drivers from driving the hole. The greens are sloped and many have ridges which confuse any golfer trying to figure out which way a putt breaks. So, even though Pico is a short course, very few people par the course. It was designed by famed golf course designer William Bell. His golf designs have subtle difficulty. Before you know it, you get a bogey or double. Strategy and skill are rewarded and stupid decisions are punished. Pico Rivera Golf Course is a Bell treasure.

The course is excellent. I love playing here, and would've given it 5 stars but they still force you to use the mats off the tee. Staff is a different story. At least three times they didn't want to give me the practice bucket that they advertise when you book using golfnow. i booked a tee time yesterday and almost didn't get to play because the pro shop said they were having a tournament in 2 hours. Sorry pico, not my fault you couldn't coordinate your day better. Again, course is awesome. So I'll be there, again.

have played this course many times and the staff is great...only issue i had was booked 18 holes but they would only let us play 9 at the rate we booked...other then that course is good for beginners

I grew up playing this course but it just keeps getting worse year after year. The pace of play is a joke. The course is a joke. Go play in Compton instead.

Thought I was fine for my tee time start then three other groups showed up in front of us. Very poor pace of play and no Marshall on the course.

It is great to tee off golf balls in this course. I highly recommend to everyone.

Had to borrow a collard shirt from the pro shop due to a recent change in rules, which I didn't mind, seeing that there are several improvements going on and the new management trying to make lil ol pico a better place. But to see a group of six (6), i repeat, a SIXSOME out on the course made me wonder whats really going on

Had great golf day.. love the course that day I went they had construction going on but overall it will be updated and nice. Good food friendly staff excellent Micheladas on the 5th hole. Just brought back the dress code I love that so wear a collar shirt..

Fee included a small bucket of balls for warm up. Since I played around 6 pm, I noticed that hole #4 was pitch dark. Bad lighting that needs fixing and the tee mats look warn out that might need replacing as well. Quiet and nice atmosphere! I hear summer time is very busy for those who might want to play here.

Nice little course. I got my first hole in one. Staff was great.

We had a good day, all pairings moved right along. Greens were kept up as well as the course. Very good time. The cart lady was excellent.

It's been about two years since I have played this course and to my surprise they have improved, in all areas I will be back soon.

Horrible experience, took my customer to this course to relax and talk about business big fail.The maintenance person had the blower on right on tge 1st hole and wouldn't turn machine off, as we are leaving towards the green on the 1st hole I notice the golf cart was off alignment good thing we didn't flip going down hill.So there I go walking up to tge office to tell the staff.I wouldn't come back.
